Double-tap Shift.
That's how you save something in Promptly, the Windows app I'm releasing today.
Highlight a prompt that worked, a reply worth keeping, or a block of code. Tap Shift twice. It's in your library, and your clipboard hasn't been touched.
Later, one shortcut opens that library. Type a word to search, or filter by tag. Click a snippet and it's copied, ready to paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or wherever you are.
I made it because my best prompts kept disappearing into old chats, and the versions I retyped from memory were never as good.
A few things it doesn't do:
– ask you to make an account
– sync your text anywhere
– collect telemetry
– need an internet connection
Your saved text stays on your PC.

@MadameFuku@damnjwhatyousay it literally says pouring it onto the lawn hurts the environment and u still out here being stubborn asf? bro u learnt u were wrong just admit it
@Minaabbx if your friend is willing to betray the love of her life, imagine what she can do to you. it’s not your business to tell her husband and ruin their marriage, but you should cut her off
@liegum@asspressso disregard them like weak ones, but we must use logic and judgement again. so, i brought up that there must be some context that we are missing. they might have calculated time in a different manner to now, as in her age of 6 was not how long its been since she was born but (2)
@liegum@asspressso When verses were revealed, the Prophet instructed scribes (kuttāb al-waḥy, “scribes of revelation”) to write them and directed where they belonged within a surah. The writings were kept on available materials such as parchment, leather, palm stalks, and bone.
@asspressso are u a christian/jew? with all due respect, what can u tell me about the preservation of ur holy books? there are various different versions of the bible/torah that led to essentially different religions at this point and not sects? yet y’all still believe blindly ain’t it?
@asspressso your “evidence” does not have good grounds when it’s based on chained conversations from 200+ years ago and i tried explaining that to you.
@asspressso i genuinely think you have trouble reading stuff so i’m not entertaining this any further. whatever i say you’re going to twist it to fit your agenda
@asspressso you need to understand that the religion has many sects, and all of them interpret things differently which is different from changing the narrative.
a certain sect interpreting things wrong shouldn’t taint the rest of the religion?
@asspressso =there’s no actual way to prove this. some scholars say back then they only started counting age after puberty, so she was probably in her late teens at the time instead of being 8. now a 40+ yo man marrying a teenager is wrong today, but god knows how it was like 1.4k+ yrs ago
@asspressso these were recorded 200+ years after the prophet died, based on conversations that were transmitted in chains. now imagine you told someone something today and they tell someone tomorrow etc for 200+ years, THINGS WILL GET TRANSMITTED WRONG at some point?
