@ratlennon I just wanted to share what I have learned from Psychology classes- It is common for psychologists to misdiagnosing patients because we have over 150 disorders, and so I assumed they want to avoid that kind of mistake.
@ratlennon Getting a diagnostic label is no guarantee of getting the proper treatment, and it is often associated with worry and stigma. Also, mental health conditions have highly variable symptoms. They are not clear cut like other medical conditions. Misdiagnosis causes severe damages.

I always knew that it is crucial to realize we all are not perfect, it is impossible to be flawless as we all have our own imperfections but it is not necessarily bad, and the worst part is that stigma of mental illnesses prevents us from receiving supports we need.
broken, it will allow us to gain the freedom to see what we can do to work on ourselves rather than being shamed and postponing the treatments we need (Alexander, 2010). You will be surprised at how much we are capable of when we are maximizing our potential; in the fact,
how common it is often for us to delay our opportunity because mental illnesses prevent us from maximized ourselves, and perhaps most of us are also trapped in the comfort zone. Bettering yourself required a very uncomfortable position that only a few are committed to it.
I will blow your mind away with new films. Donโt ever stop pursuing your passions, and everyone will be great at what they love to do. Thatโs a scientific fact. Donโt give up on yourself, period.
The more I learned Psychology, the more I realize how much it has applied to my life, and but more importantly, films. A lot of people said the same thing such as โWhy Psychology? It is not related to filmmaking?โ and โIs it a good idea?โ, and so forth.
I am hoping for educating people about mental health, to overcoming the stigma of mental illnesses and make my films more meaningful. You just wait and see. When I am done with connecting all dots from storyboards, scripts, and so on to the Psychology field.
