👉Great Community!
You have such a unique chance to be a different leader and figure. To either parrot whatever else says: “so much division.” “So much hate.” OR, to remind everyone of all the good. Of the love available to everyone. Of the special chance we have to help others. To give.
To serve.
.@CaitlinClark22, you’ve set yourself apart - amazingly - by being extremely astute w/the media. Don’t crumble now. “Crumble, what do you mean?” Of course, step up, and publicly support Coach. I love it. Loyalty above all. But don’t reinforce or espouse that all there is is hate.
Love is what rules the world. Changes the world. And fuels the interactions, even seemingly small and insignificant, that could set a person’s life on a unique and different course (Maya Moore’s hug when you were 10. An act of love!).
Lead with your heart.
With positivity.
Be unique.
Seek to always change the discourse to what happens in the real world.
People help each other, & sacrifice, ALL the time.
They are innumerable examples of service.
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
So you have a chance. You can parrot whatever everyone else says. “So much division.” “So much hate.” “Always negative.” Or, you can be courageous, different, a true change maker (more than you even have already. Holy shit is this even possible?).
And you can lead different.
@Mocurrie25 Great point.
However, not all rules are made in response to a negative action. (Drug example.)
Why can’t rules be implemented in advance? As a protection?
The key to developing a strong running habit is to make running as low pressure as possible. All you need to do is put on your shoes and get out the door. Move your feet. Walking is perfectly acceptable. That’s a win for the day.
It’s not about having more willpower. It’s about lowering the standard for what counts as a successful run. The irony is that the less you care about a “good pace” the easier it is to run consistently. And that consistency is what ultimately improves your performance.
@Alan_Couzens So … walking ?
And if I do tons of walking can I hypothetically be in better form to then train for an Ironman 70.3 ? I have a dog and she’s kicking my ass in the walking. 😊
@Steve_Lawson93 No one is saying they need to play with men. Maybe need another league or classification.
Women get double fucked here.
1)Trans women hypothetically take a spot from a biological women. And 2)women who transition couldn’t (usually) make a men’s team or play at the elite levels.
@Mocurrie25 This is why
It is easy to say there are no players who are trans. And you could also say there are no players taking steroids. So a drug rule is irrelevant. But someone might take drugs, right? A dominant trans woman might enter the league, right? What’s wrong with a policy.

@Mocurrie25 Because it is an important issue facing women’s sports and has been really since Lia Thomas, the NCAA swimmer. If every other sports governing body has a policy … why wouldn’t the wnba? It is a safeguard. Like making sure no player takes steroids. Right?✌️
GOOD EXERCISE TO BE KINDER TO YOURSELF
If you walked down the street and met yourself what would happen?
Try and visualize.
Maybe you’d be sort of impressed, actually.
And proud.
And amused.
“Wow what a nice smile.”
You’re one of a kind. Be kind.
