Even if there's one Shia left on Earth, even in the remotest corner, Imam Hussain's name will be still taken. Subhan Allah.
Yeh hai Hussain. His legacy will go on... Mita nahin sakte uss yaad ko, uss din ko, uss maarkay ko.
Ashura is a time of remembrance, sacrifice and reflection.
Today, on the 10th day of Muharram, we are reminded of Imam Hussain's unwavering commitment to truth and dignity. His timeless legacy reminds us of the enduring values of faith, service to one another, and the belief that justice is always worth fighting for.
Our City’s strength comes from the many faith traditions that shape it — and our shared struggle against injustice and oppression.
May we carry these values forward as we continue building a more just City for every New Yorker.
To all free people: read about Imam Hussain(as) and the battle of Karbala. It is a timeless lesson in courage, justice, dignity, and standing against oppression. The story inspires generations to stand against tyranny and oppression.

Al-Bukhārī and Ḥadīth al-Ghadīr 🧵
Al-Bukhārī (d. 256) famously does not include ḥadīth al-ghadīr in his world-renowned Ṣaḥīḥ collection.
We do not have a statement by Bukhārī explaining his choice to leave out ḥadīth al-ghadīr, but ...
"O people! The Light (Noor) of Allah, the Exalted and Sublime, flows through me, then through #Ali ibn Abi Talib, and thereafter through his descendants until al-Qa’im al-#Mahdi (aj), who shall establish the justice of Allah and restore every right that belongs to us. Allah, the Exalted and Sublime, has made us His proof (Hujjah) over those who oppose us, belittle our rank, reject our words, betray us, commit sins, act oppressively, and usurp the rights of others throughout the world."
A passage from the Sermon of Ghadir (Khutbat al-Ghadir) delivered by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on the day of
#Eid al-Ghadir.
Eid al-Ghadeer Mubarak! 🌹
"The love of Ali (AS) to the believers is as sunlight and water are to flowers. Through this love, we blossom. Through this love, our souls are beautified."
Our heartfelt congratulations to our master, Imam al-Mahdi(AJTF), and to all the believers on this blessed and magnificent day. Ghadeer was was the completion of a divine path through which humanity would forever distinguish truth from falsehood, light from darkness, and guidance from misguidance. Every goodness we possess, every tear we shed for Ahlulbayt (AS), every act of worship that brings us closer to Allah SWT, is by the blessing of this Wilayah.
We pray that Allah keeps our hearts firm upon the love of Ameer al-Mo'mineen (AS), grants us the ability to embody his justice, courage, sincerity, and devotion, and allows us to depart this world carrying the banner of his Wilayah and the Wilayah of his pure descendants.
Al-Khoei Institute mourns the passing of Grand Ayatollah Shaykh Muhammad Ishaq al-Fayyadh (قدس سره الشريف), one of the foremost scholars of the Hawza of Najaf and a distinguished student of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei.
For decades, he served Islam through scholarship, teaching, and the cultivation of generations of scholars. His contributions to the intellectual and religious life of Najaf will remain a lasting legacy.

They also glorify Allah but you can't grasp their glorification.
“The seven heavens, the earth, and all those in them glorify Him. There is not a single thing that does not glorify His praises—but you ˹simply˺ cannot comprehend their glorification. He is indeed Most Forbearing, All-Forgiving.” (Q.17:44)
Do not go numb. Our emotions are what move us to action. We need to feel all of our emotions right now, the sadness, the anger, the fear, the love, all of it. It's all real & we need to act sooner than later to end these oppressive systems that are killing us & everyone we love.
My heart is heavy tonight going through instagram and whatsapp stories. Everyone I know in Lebanon lost someone today. Some lost entire families. Babies, mothers, sisters, brothers and friends. Gone. This is not a “war on Hezbollah”. This is a war on Lebanon and Lebanese people.
