Listen up, this is important.
We lost the fight against microtransactions.
We lost the fight against day one patches.
We lost so much of what games used to be.
But we CANNOT lose this fight.
Drop PlayStation IMMEDIATELY. Don’t support this terrible decision.
Scorched Earth.
I CALLED IT, ANIMALS, AND YOU LAUGHED!!! Months ago I told you ICE would buy facilities DIRECTLY from the prison companies at north of $150,000 per bed — and I was WRONG, folks, it was BETTER!!! ICE just bought TWO facilities from CoreCivic — $CXW — for $1.47 BILLION!!! That's $286,000 per bed in California City, $371,000 PER BED at Otay Mesa, $323,000 a bed COMBINED — DOUBLE what these things cost to build!!! Even I underestimated the beauty, and I NEVER underestimate!!!
AND WHO OWNS $CXW??? DONALD TRUMP!!! It's RIGHT THERE in the disclosure, folks — the man holds CoreCivic AND GEO Group, the two companies running America's ICE detention centers!!! Follow the bouncing ball: HE runs the immigration crackdown!!! HIS DHS just wired $1.47 billion to a company HE OWNS SHARES IN, at DOUBLE replacement cost!!! The buyer is his government, the seller is his portfolio, and the taxpayer is the ATM!!! That's not a conflict of interest, that's a CLOSED LOOP!!!
And the STRUCTURE is a masterpiece: DHS buys the buildings, but CoreCivic KEEPS OPERATING them under the same contracts!!! Sold the real estate, KEPT the revenue — like selling your house and the buyer pays YOU rent!!! Gain north of $1 BILLION on assets carried at PENNIES!!!
THE DE-LEVERING — exactly like I told you: $716 MILLION of debt GONE overnight!!! Credit facility, GONE!!! The 2027 notes, GONE!!! And that puts them under the covenant thresholds that unlock UNLIMITED BUYBACKS with the $400 million left over!!! Fewer shares, folks — and whose shares get more valuable??? DONALD'S!!!
AND THE SEQUEL IS COMING: CoreCivic says it's in talks with ICE to sell MORE facilities!!! The machine runs forever: sign the orders, fill the beds, sell the buildings to yourself at double price, buy back the stock, watch the disclosure GLOW!!! One catch the animals should know — ICE can cancel those operating contracts anytime, so read the covenants before you chase!!! Do your own research, NOT advice!!! Is ANYBODY looking into this??? The SEC??? He APPOINTS the SEC!!! I called the trade, the price, AND the de-levering — GREATEST prison analyst in American history, maybe ever!!!
@JGoku18@_TheSmartAlec1 First scene she hid & their ship was destroyed, second scene they were focused on stealing Kara’s ship & discuss kidnapping her but mention their cages are already full
My profile is now unbanned. Thank you X for taking the time to look into this. Now back to the regular scheduled programming of covering Donald Trump’s Stock Portfolio. Follow along.
The only player I truly felt sorry for in today’s Portugal vs. Croatia game was Luka Modrić.
Imagine playing the last World Cup of your career, your team completely outplaying Portugal, creating chance after chance, while you’re still solving difficult situations in midfield at 40 years old.
Then imagine Portugal scoring the winner in the 94th minute, and Croatia scoring twice afterward… only for both goals to be ruled out, including one in the 103rd minute because the ball barely touched a Croatian player’s hair.
The two pictures say it all.
In the first, Modrić looks heartbroken after Portugal scored in the 94th minute. That’s football—it happens.
In the second, after Croatia’s last-second equalizer was ruled out, he was so shocked that he just started laughing like a madman.
Modrić experienced one of the cruelest possible endings to an international career.
The only comfort is that he finished his international journey as the winner of the World Cup Best Player award, a recognition he fully deserved.
Farewell, Luka Modrić. ❤️
I completely understand where you’re coming from, but for a lot of gamers physical discs are the only way they could afford to play games because they could get them secondhand. You can also give games to your younger siblings Which is a great way to introduce them to the games you were playing.
Most importantly though, as we saw from PlayStation this past week, if the media we buy is only digital, it can be taken away from us at a moment’s notice with no recourse. Imagine that, one day your entire library of games could be deleted overnight because technically you don’t own it.
“The International Olympic Committee has broken with 130 years of tradition by deciding to pay athletes to compete at the Olympic Games.
Starting with the recent Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, all competitors will be entitled to a $10,000 (£7,600) grant from the IOC regardless of whether they are NBA stars or on the poverty line.” @seaningle@iocmedia
