זה לא ריפוי. זה עינוי נפשי.
לוקחים נער או נערה ואומרים: “אתה חולה, את מקולקלת, צריך לתקן אתכם”.
מוחקים את הזהות שלנו, שוברים רצון, מחדירים בושה עד שנשארת רק שנאה עצמית.
יש “מטפלים” שאפילו מציעים: “אם לא תשתנה – אולי עדיף שלא תחיה בכלל”.
"כי זה או להשתנות ולא להיות הומו או למות"
הם לא רק ניסו לשנות אותי; הם רצחו חלקים ממי שאני. ההשפעות של הטיפולים האלה נמשכות עד היום; עצב, פחד, קושי לבטוח באחרים וקושי באנטימיות.

כך נראית ההמרה: לא אהבה, לא דת, לא טיפול. רק ריסוק מבפנים.

אני בכלל לא מדבר על אלפי צעירות דתיות תמימות שנישאות לגברים הומואים בלי לדעת שהם כאלה ושעברו המרה.
לדעתי זו מירמה, זו פגיעה כפולה.

החלטתי שאף אחד אחר לא יעבור את מה שעברתי בשתיקה.
אני יוצא למאבק ציבורי שנועד להוציא מחוץ לחוק את כל המכונים שמבצעים פשע נגד האנושות ואני רוצה להעביר חוק איסור טיפולי המרה בישראל כדי להגן על צעירים, משפחות, ואנשים שנמצאים כרגע בצד האפל הזה.

@willmcgugan I once had an idea for a pay-to-open model. OP pays a symbolic amount to setup a meeting with maintainer to demo said issue. Paying would make OP be thoughtful when opening issue and the maintainer much more happy to contribute their time
