The Key Patterns:

- Type I: Round pits. Normal mucosa (non-neoplastic).

- Type II: Asteroid or stellate pits. Typical of hyperplastic lesions (non-neoplastic).

- Type IIIs: Tubular or round pits, smaller than normal (neoplastic).

- Type IIIL: Tubular or round pits, larger than normal (neoplastic).

- Type IV: Dendritic, branch-like, or gyrus-like pits (neoplastic).

- Type Vi (Irregular): Irregular arrangement and sizes of IIIL, IIIs, or IV patterns (neoplastic, suspicious for high-grade dysplasia or intramucosal invasion).

- Type Vn (Non-structural): Loss or decrease of pits with an amorphous structure (neoplastic, suspicious for deep submucosal invasive cancer).
