@danielbigham @CorySteuben I made it 4 miles in tough conditions - temp dropped to 55 degrees and made the tough call to get out bc hypothermia was setting in. But I redeemed myself the following week and did a 10k channel lake swim under 3 hours. But I need to train in colder open water!!!!

@jsrbbb @CorySteuben It was tough! It dropped to 55 degrees for race. Despite all my training, my body couldn’t handle the cold and I made the tough choice to get out about halfway around island. 😥 still managed a good pace for 4 miles against current but hoping I can conquer it one day!
