Reporter: Some members of the Jewish community, including Democratic Congressman Josh Gottheimer, were alarmed by the language you used at the rally last week, calling AIPAC monsters who move dark money.
Mamdani: I want to be very clear. We’re talking about a status quo where children are being killed on a daily basis. More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli military since the so-called ceasefire.
Even an Al Jazeera journalist, Ahmed Wishah, was killed this past Saturday by an Israeli strike. And when I am speaking about AIPAC, I’m speaking about an organization that has been supportive of the status quo, that has fought any attempt to actually deliver safety to people not just in Palestine but, frankly, throughout much of the region.
And it is a status quo of immorality. It is one that I will not accept. And when it comes to the way in which they defend the status quo, oftentimes they defend it through direct contributions, as we are seeing right now in New York 13.
Oftentimes they also support the status quo through dark money, by funneling money that would have previously come directly from AIPAC through other organizations whose contributors’ identities are only made clear after an election.
And I think it is important that when we ask ourselves how such death and destruction is happening overseas, we also name those who allow it to take place.
NAILED IT: Jeff Bezos: “A nurse in Queens who makes $75K a year pays more than $12K a year in taxes. Does that really make sense?”
“So people talk about making the tax system more progressive. How about we start by having the nurse in Queens NOT pay taxes? At all!”
“Why is a nurse in Queens who makes $75K a year paying more than $1K a month in taxes?”
“That’s $1K a month that could help with rent or groceries or anything.”
“And by the way, do you know what that all adds up to? The bottom half of income earners in this country pay only 3% of the taxes. It’s only 3%.”
“We can find 3%. So we don’t have... it’s a small amount of money for the government. You know that. And the more I thought about it, to me, it’s kind of absurd that we’re doing this.”
“We shouldn’t be asking this nurse in Queens to send money to Washington — they should be sending her an apology. It really makes no sense.”
Exactly!
🔸Haaretz journalist Gideon Levy (@gideonle):
“An army who is preoccupied in a brutal occupation for decades now cannot behave otherwise. You cannot maintain such an occupation for so many years and remain human. Doesn’t work. Didn’t work in any other occupation in the world.
What will make people realize that we are growing monsters in front of our eyes? What will make them be convinced that we crossed any possible line?
You know there are six million uprooted people now in the Middle East wandering around from here to there. part of them lost their homes forever in Gaza, in Lebanon, in Iran.
Are we really proud to be a country which creates such a reality for 6 million human beings?
Isn’t it the time once to look at the
truth and say yes, we went too far. our
megalomanic dreams, our belief that only by force and only by military force
without any restraints will solve the
problems.
I was today in the West Bank. I’m there every week. There is no exceptions anymore. The pogroms of the settlers, together with the soldiers, together. Planned together, committed together. This is not an exception. This is an army of occupation who cannot operate otherwise but to become more and more and more brutal.”

Our daughter, Rachel Corrie, was killed in 2003 in Gaza, while trying to protect a Palestinian home facing illegal destruction by the Israeli military. She was 23 years old. The massive, armored Caterpillar D-9 bulldozer that crushed her was operated by two Israeli soldiers and manufactured in the United States. It was the same type of militarized bulldozer that US presidents from George W. Bush through to Donald Trump have delivered to Israel.
Today, as the destruction of Palestinian homes has only become more commonplace, not to mention the horror of Israel’s genocide, Senator Bernie Sanders will force a vote in the Senate to try to end this cycle of death by banning the transfer of D-9 bulldozers to Israel. We hope he will not take this stand alone.
No policy can bring back those taken from us by these actions—children and other loved ones. But the Senate now has an opportunity to honor the memories of our daughter, other Americans, and thousands of Palestinian civilians killed, and to show that their deaths, and all the destruction, will no longer be condoned and funded. We hope those elected to represent us, the American people, understand the message that voting to block these D-9 bulldozers will send. This will not be a symbolic gesture, but a concrete step toward the protection of human life.

SNEAKO asks Prime Minister of Malaysia why they banned Israelis from visiting their country🇲🇾🇮🇱
"We don't recognize them as a state. How can you recognize a state that has colonized Palestine? They are expanding, causing atrocities, and are barbaric."
Dave Chappelle fires back after backlash over his Saudi Arabia show.
Says no one ever had a problem with Saudi money until “a black man” made “money off the plantation.”
“The United States government does business with the Saudis. Netflix does business with Saudis, everyone. Saudis financed tons of movies. I see them financing boxing matches and all these things.”
“And none of these things were an issue until I went there.”
“Now, why is that? As soon as a black man can make money off the plantation, they try to tell you that the money is dirty.”
FULL EXCHANGE BELOW:
REPORTER: “US intelligence did make it clear that they believe that the Saudis killed Jamal Khāshqujī in the embassy in Turkey. And you knew that when you went, right?”
CHAPPELLE: “Oh, absolutely.”
REPORTER: “You had no qualms?”
CHAPPELLE: “I won’t say that. They asked me to go years before that, and I said no for that very reason.”
“Since that time, the United States government does business with the Saudis. Netflix does business with Saudis, everyone. Saudis financed tons of movies. I see them financing boxing matches and all these things.”
“And none of these things were an issue until I went there.”
“Now, why is that? As soon as a black man can make money off the plantation, they try to tell you that the money is dirty. Well, okay, I’ll go home and spend the money with actual slave owners on it. Where is this clean money you’re talking about?”
REPORTER: “But you said you hesitated for years to go. There are years you didn’t go. So what made the difference for you?”
CHAPPELLE: “Time. Time and circumstance. Time. And the wheels of commerce kept turning.”
“If you want to be that pure about money, then stop driving your car, stop eating, don’t use your cell phone. Everything is tethered to something that’s just terrible.”
“And I can make a million excuses or reasons to deprive that crowd of that show, but, man, when I was standing in front of them, I feel like I did the right thing.”
This video is both heartbreaking and life-inspiring.
A film crew tries to film the destruction caused by US/Israeli bombing at an apartment complex in Iran. One of the tenants, an old man whose apartment has been almost completely shattered, insists on inviting the film crew in and offering them something to eat.
"We have only come to film, we don't want anything," the crew says.
But the old man insists on at least offering them oranges and apples.
Ultimately, those who come out victorious from conflicts are those who retain their dignity. Who never let war make them lose their humanity and self-respect.
Who, even in the worst of situations, insist on upholding sacred traditions and beliefs, including that of hospitality.
That's what makes a civilization indestructible.
Please remember this video and do your best to forget the videos of the lost souls dancing and cheering on the streets when their countrymen, women, and children were being killed by "democracy and freedom" bombs.
🚨 This is not random. This is strategy. 🚨
Repeated Israeli airstrikes on bridges over the Litani River are on the verge of cutting off South Lebanon from the rest of the country.
This is not about “targets.”
👉 This is how you cut off the land you want to conquer and settle
from the rest of the country.
Destroy the bridges →
Sever the South →
& Make it impossible to defend effectively
This is territorial isolation by design.
And people still call this “limited strikes.”

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.
This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.
Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.
I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.
Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli settler violence is surging again as the Iran war takes much of the world's focus. After one attack, Israeli soldiers who echo settler ideology assaulted a CNN photojournalist and detained the rest of the CNN team. Jeremy Diamond reports.
