The overall story of the second Trump admin is the abuse of power to enrich his family, reward his friends, and forgive crimes committed on his behalf, while punishing critics, threatening civil society, taxing the rest of us, and piling debt on our children.
This would be comical if it weren't so chilling.
The entire senior leadership of the Justice Department should have resigned over something like this. They betray their oath and their country by their complicity.

This is just a grotesque lie that does great damage to our country. You can support the SAVE America Act (you'd be wrong) without pretending that dissenters are disingenuous cheaters.
I'm constantly told that @SpeakerJohnson and @BasedMikeLee are sincere Christians who take their duties of stewardship seriously, but the evidence suggests otherwise.
God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.
BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV on Trump’s warning to Iran of “civilization” destruction —
“This is truly not acceptable. Here there are certainly questions of international law, but even more than this a question of morality for the good of people.”
He adds the war is “continuing to escalate and is not resolving anything… is only provoking more hatred throughout the world.”
“attacks on civilian infrastructure are against international law, but it is also against sign of the hatred and division that we are capable of.”

Congratulations to @CoachDustyMay, Elliot Cadeau, and @UMichBBall on winning their first title since 1989! This team dominated the tournament from start to finish. Well deserved. Go Blue!
This man has absolute, dripping contempt for the Constitution he is sworn to defend and for the very concept of law itself.
Elevating him to the White House, twice, was a tremendously reckless thing for a people who value law and liberty to do.
