@AccessForAll7@TomClonan@AerLingus Whilst travelling with AerLingus from Lanzarote to Dublin I had a very upsetting experience. We are a family of 5, 2 of my children are full time wheelchair users, they can not walk or stand. I made a complaint to Aer Lingus but whilst I .....
📍Benbulben Forest Walk
🗓️ April 2026
The plan had been to climb Benbulben but the Irish weather had other ideas. The wind at ground level was gusty enough to nearly knock you over so we changed our plans and did the beautiful forest walk that hugs the edge of Benbulben.

Work prevented me from posting this at 10 am but just because it's late doesn't mean it's any less sincere as I send my warmest thoughts to family and friends of Alan. Fly high! You'll be missed down here. @AMLaCassePhoto

Are there material incentives to do idiopathic scoliosis surgeries at Blackrock rather than Cappagh ? @paulmurphy_TD
Confirmation from Lucy Nugent that the surgeon being investigated for the insertion of non-medical grade spring into children is still being paid.

Only two weeks ago, a special man made a special day special for a special young lady. That was the type of man @AMLaCassePhoto was. It’s the little things in life the small acts of kindness that single us out. The void Alan leaves in his passing is filled with memories like this
In contrast to me, Prof Kennedy is a brilliant oncologist, who was one of the early founders of the specialty in Ireland.
Prof Kennedy chaired the current national cancer strategy (https://t.co/h6CpQpXH3a), which expires this year.
The government @roinnslainte is under no obligation to develop a new cancer strategy, but I think it is clearly the right thing to do. The minister has agreed in principle to developing a new strategy.
Also in contrast to me, I happen to know Prof Kennedy is a bibliophile; he uses words sparingly, and very precisely, only when something is specifically worth saying.
About Prof Kennedy:
In challenging clinical situations, he will always take your call, and will give solid clinical advice every time.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2pm ward rounds, like a clock. He checked in not only with cancer patients, also with the staff, every day.
Between 4 and 5pm, my best chance of finding him if I needed him would be to go to the dayward, where every day he would go deliberately, to check if things were ok.
If something was not ok, he would drop everything, go straight to the CEOs office, and insist on a solution. The CEO listened.
Most of the weekends I was on call, I found him in his office on Saturdays, unpaid, finishing off the week’s responsibilities.
I honestly do not mind if policy makers or resource allocators do not want to listen to me, but at least listen to John.
He is a leader in the field.

Fianna Fáil Cllr Seamus Butler of Longford Town responded to this woman this way after she emailed him about her struggles and asked him to vote no confidence in his own party.
While he actually can’t vote anyway, his response speaks volumes about how Fianna Fáil view the ordinary Irish person.
They simply don’t care.

Under the care of CHI Neglect . We had to go to US for
leg and hip surgery. Left on a waiting list for years then removed without any further pain. Now with an 80 degree curve not even listed for surgery here in Ireland. We need change for children now . #StatutoryInquiry
For various boring reasons we have to say that these are Hugh Grant’s views not ours, and that we definitely haven’t printed his post out and put it in a little frame on our desk
