@hodapp The repair takes extra time, as they have to ground ship it to repair location, as it can’t fly or the battery may expand too much and burst.

@hodapp This happened to my 2015 Pro in August, that I got in 2017. Apple said repair is free for a few years for this issue. Normally $200. They replaced battery, keyboard, trackpad, and surrounding aluminum shell. It’s all glued together, so they have to replace it all.
