One of the biggest colonial myths that has been successfully injected into our medulla oblongata is that Africans sold themselves into slavery.

Thanks to relentless media propaganda, many Africans today believe that what really happened during slavery was that innocent Europeans simply came to Africa with gunboats to do normal business.
They believe that Africans are savages who happily sold their brothers and sisters for mirrors and European luxury.

This successfully shifts the blame away from the criminals who sailed thousands of kilometers across the Atlantic Ocean to kidnap and traffic humans, packing them like sardines inside slave ships and shipping them to foreign soil to be worked to death. The blame for this crime against humanity has been placed squarely on the victims while the aggressors get to keep a clean white glove.

The real truth was that when the slave masters arrived on the shores of Africa, they were not interested in doing business with anyone. They did not want business partners: they wanted victims. They began by kidnapping innocent fishermen and hiding behind trees to lay ambush on unsuspecting people. This was a tactic that worked for a time, but transatlantic slavery became too profitable for small scale theft.

The more people they captured, the more the demand went up. It was clear to them that to meet their quota, they would have to go deeper into the thick African jungles. But the problem for the invaders was that their bodies were not designed for the malaria native to the African continent. Many of these slave traders died of disease before they even discovered a single community to capture.

The ones who managed to survive did not find it easy either. Some of these African kingdoms and empires were highly sophisticated with battalions of brave fighters who understood the terrain. The invaders were easily overwhelmed and disposed of despite having guns.

But of course, they did not give up on their imperial ambitions and dreams of outright subjugation. It was too profitable a venture to abandon. So, they pivoted, and it was at this time that they flooded Africa with guns. Instead of coming with empty slave ships, the ships were filled to the brim with guns and ammunition.

You see, just like Europe and the rest of the world, Africans did not live together in a single community and share everything like brothers and sisters. They existed as kingdoms and empires, and they often fought against each other just as France and London literally fought for one hundred and sixteen years.

The colonial masters came in to change the mathematics of war by flooding specific communities with guns. All of a sudden, these conflicts became violent, and communities without guns were easily overwhelmed. This triggered an arms race where kings started scouting for these weapons to protect their people. But even when they came across this cartel of imperialists involved in gun smuggling, they were shocked to find that these people did not want gold or diamonds. If you wanted guns, you had to bring a full grown human being. It was trade by barter, but the reserve currency was a human life.

These kingdoms were effectively caught between Scylla and Charybdis: either renounce the trade and wait to be captured and sold as a slave, or invade other kingdoms to acquire the guns. Saying Africans sold themselves as slaves to colonial masters is like saying Europeans sold themselves as slaves to the Romans. The concept of "European" did not exist at the time. People identified as Gauls, Britons, Germans, Thracians, or Goths, and they frequently viewed their neighbors as enemies to be exploited. The white man simply exploited this reality to his advantage.

The kingdom that suffered the most from this arms race was the Kingdom of Kongo.
During the colonial era, the Kingdom of Kongo was a highly centralized and sophisticated state located in West Central Africa. The kingdom was divided into six core provinces with organized administrative structures. At the top was the Manikongo (the King), who served as the political and spiritual head of the state.

Unlike many European monarchies of the time, succession was not strictly hereditary. Instead, the king was elected by a Council of Twelve (the Twelve Wise Advisors) consisting of high ranking nobles and officials. This council had the power to elect, advise, and in some cases, depose the monarch for misconduct. Kongo was one of the first African states to engage in formal, state level diplomacy with Europe.

The Manikongo at the time was a philosopher who sent diplomats to Lisbon to study European culture at the request of the King of Portugal. These nobles were not captives; they served as diplomatic emissaries. They stayed in Lisbon for several years, learning the Portuguese language and receiving instruction in Christian doctrine. When these emissaries returned to Kongo in 1488, they brought news of European technology, military power, and the Christian faith.

This inspired the Manikongo, and he converted to Christianity along with his entire cabinet. King Afonso I was a visionary who sought a partnership of equals. He wanted doctors, masons, and priests to build a modern Christian state. He believed that by embracing the Cross, the Kingdom of Kongo would stand as an equal to Portugal (a civilized, sovereign partner in a new world). He opened the gates and welcomed missionaries and diplomats with open arms, expecting Bibles and builders.

But he was fed to the wolves as the King of Portugal sent him human traffickers instead. The diplomats did not bring progress; they brought a virus of violence. These "holy" emissaries were flooding his kingdom with guns. They did not give the weapons to the King; they handed them to the six provincial governors, effectively arming the limbs to strangle the head. Overnight, the administration shattered. Those six governors, backed by Portuguese steel, stopped sending taxes to the capital. They realized they did not need a King when they had a direct line to European traffickers.

The kingdom descended into absolute chaos. The streets of Kongo fell silent because the people were being hunted. High born and low born alike began disappearing, snatched from their homes and sold for those very weapons. The state was being cannibalized from the inside out. Desperate and heartbroken, the Manikongo (Afonso I) penned an emotional letter to the King of Portugal. He did not write to a conqueror; he wrote to a "Brother in Christ." He poured his soul into the ink, telling the Portuguese King that his people were being stolen, that his towns were standing empty, and that this trade was a demonic stain on their shared faith. He begged him, as a Christian, to make it stop.

The reply from Portugal was a spit in the face. The King of Portugal told him not to worry about "missing people." He had the audacity to say there were more than enough people in Kongo to compensate for the losses. He delivered a cold, brutal ultimatum: if the Manikongo wanted to keep receiving wine for his church altars and luxury European goods for his court, he had to shut his mouth and not interfere with the trade.

When the Manikongo tried to resist, the Portuguese did not use diplomacy; they used lead. He faced several failed assassinations, including being shot at in his own church during Mass, because he dared to stand in the way of their profit.

This was one of the most tragic betrayals in human history. This betrayal broke the back of the Kongo. As the central authority withered, the region was ripe for the final slaughter. Even as the famous Queen Njinga rose in the south, fighting a decades long war of fire and blood against the Portuguese and trying to save the kingdom, the damage was already done. She fought like a lioness to keep the invaders at bay, but the Portuguese played the long game of "divide and conquer." The end result was the balkanization of a once mighty empire. What was once a unified, sophisticated administration was hacked into pieces, becoming the modern day Congo and Angola.

As part of my itinerary in Bauchi state yesterday Thursday 23rd, 2026, after visiting, Madarasatu Intisharul Islam Qismu Tahfizul, Qur'an, Yelwa, I visited Malikiya College of Nursing Sciences, Bauchi.

I had visited the institution in the past and donated 10 million naira which they used to set up their ICT computer centre, which I was impressed to see alongside their increased student intake. During my visit, I donated another 10million naira.

Health is critical for development and we must invest in the human infrastructure needed for that development.

The average Nigerian is pro-West by default, and the blame lies squarely at the feet of the educational engine we operate in this country.
This is why I've always maintained that every current effort to "improve" the Nigerian education is nothing but an exercise in futility.

Let them continue to pour billions into renovating crumbling school blocks under the dire delusion that painting the walls of a prison contributes to the national good.

Let them continue to "smuggle" AI and robotics into a curriculum designed to produce 19th-century colonial clerks, hoping that somehow, through some miracle, we can sprout a Silicon Valley from a soil soaked in colonial ink.

Let them keep hosting "Education Summits" in five-star hotels to discuss "global competitiveness" while their students are being trained to be strangers in their own land.

Let them keep chasing "global rankings" that were designed to measure how well we mimic our slave masters.

Then, one day, when we finally wake from this deep, induced slumber, we will do exactly what China did to transform from a broken territory into a formidable global force.

We will start by dismantling every single American and British international schools on Nigerian soil.
Not through regulation, but through the complete and unified closure of these factories of alienation.

We will incinerate the foreign textbooks used to sterilize the minds of our youth and replace them with the hard truths of our own African heritage.

After we have cleared the foreign outposts, we will turn our gaze to the national curriculum, which is the heart of the beast, from Nursery 1 to SS3.
This Lord Lugard curriculum cannot be reformed, patched, or "decolonized."
It is a blueprint for mental bondage.

We will burn the school curriculum on live television, a national bonfire for all to see, marking the definitive end of neo-colonialism.

In its place, we will assemble a phalanx of Pan-African experts to forge a curriculum that reflects African values, African history, and an African future.

Next, we will shutter every higher college and university in the country.
We will lock the gates until the "Liberal Arts" poison education we operate, which only prepares our best minds to be high-level corporate slaves for Western conglomerates, is completely purged from the system.

We will pivot with clinical, state-driven aggression toward Technical Sovereignty. We will restructure the African mind to solve African problems using African resources.
Our engineers will not be trained to maintain Western machinery; they will be trained to invent our own.
Our scientists will not be taught to seek validation in Western journals; they will be channel that energy into harnessing our minerals to feed our people.

Only when we have the courage to burn the bridge to the West can we hope to see the rise of the truly educated Pan-African.

This is what China did and today they leading the world in technology and innovation.

Standing Up for Democracy

Today, I joined fellow Nigerians, leaders, and members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by National Chairman Sen. David Mark to participate in a peaceful "Save Democracy" protest.

This event was not just an effort to protect our democracy; it was also a moment of reflection on how far we have fallen as a nation. We must resist the suffocation of our democracy by those who once claimed to have sacrificed to defend it, but are now doing everything possible to undermine it and silence opposition.

History will not be kind to those who traded the struggle for democracy for the comfort of power. We will not remain silent, we will not be intimidated, and we will not surrender the future of this nation. The will of the people must prevail—stronger, louder, and impossible to suppress.

“This Experience Will Not Repeat Itself” - Another Presidential Promise fails in less than 24 Hours.

Less than 24 hours after President Tinubu stood at the Jos Plateau State airport on April 2, 2026, and promised the grieving Nigerian citizens, “I promise you that this experience will not repeat itself,” another brutal attack occurred in Nyamgo Gyel, Jos South LGA, resulting in the deaths of several innocent citizens.

Since then, and only a week following that reassuring promise from the President, Nasarawa State has been plunged into grief as the Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities fled for their lives after gunmen killed at least 11 people. Many homes were reduced to ashes, and numerous families remain missing.

In Zamfara State, 150 innocent Nigerians were abducted from the Kurfa Danya and Kurfan Magaji communities in one of the largest mass kidnappings in recent times. On the same day of the Zamfara kidnappings, terrorists in Borno State stormed Chibok, killing four officers and burning down homes.

Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, Benue State was rocked by violence again, with over 17 Nigerians massacred, entire communities left in ruins, and many individuals still unaccounted for. Today, in Kaduna State, several innocent citizens were killed by terrorists inside churches, with many others abducted in the Ariko community of Kachia LGA.

Yet we were told, “This experience will not repeat itself.” This represents a failure of leadership and responsibility, and sadly, Nigerians are paying for it with their lives.

These attackers are not ghostly figures; our inaction emboldens them. How can a President make such a categorical promise and, mere hours later, the nation continues to count the dead across multiple states? The primary responsibility of any government is to protect lives and property; however, this responsibility is failing today. Nigerians are being slaughtered in their homes, in their communities, and in the very places they should feel safest. Even the President did not enter these communities, so who is truly safe in Nigeria?

This is a national emergency. Nigeria is bleeding, and the situation is worsening and increasingly helpless.

These five words stringed together are the blood-soaked blueprint for the American Empire.
They are the only five words you need to decode the psychopathic logic of how the United States operates on the global stage.

At first, the Washington vultures in dark suits circled Iran, squawking about "freedom" and "liberation" and the restoration of the Shah.
But the reality now is that the "good people of Iran" have been discarded like trash.

When the American troops were dispatched to Vietnam they were not carrying doctrines of Democracy.
They brought gasoline and fire to burn villages to the ash, they brought rifles to slaughter families in cold blood, and they brought shovels to dump the bodies into mass graves.

They did not set a team of judges to establish democratic principles in Vietnam.
They sent planes loaded with chemical poisons to their farms and rivers, ensuring that even the farm fields would be dead for generations.

It is the exact same playbook that Barracko Satan Obama unleashed on Sudan.
Under the usual sickening guise of protecting "persecuted Christians" from a "terrorist Muslim government," Obama and his pack of Imperialists dismantled a sovereign nation.
They forced the balkanization of the country and funneled billions of dollars directly into the hands of terror groups in South Sudan, masquerading it as "humanitarian aid."
The result today is that more than 17 million Sudanese people have been uprooted from their homes and reduced to refugees, creating the single most catastrophic humanitarian crisis in the history of the human race.

So, we all have to wake up and understand this: Whenever you hear the American machine barking about "oppressive regimes," "restoring democracy," or "saving persecuted Christians," we need to realize they are talking to ghosts.

These are nothing but manufactured excuses designed to get you to look the other way while they carpet-bomb sovereign nations into the stone age.

They don't want to save anyone. They want to maintain their parasitic grip on global power and cement their superpower status.
