Seven KP Police Personnel Martyred in IED Attack in Lakki Marwat

A deadly terrorist attack targeted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in Lakki Marwat, where militants linked to TTP Fitna-al-Khawarij carried out an IED blast in the Bettani area. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of seven police personnel who were performing their duties.

All the martyred officers belonged to Lakki Marwat district. Among them was SHO Shadi Khel, Inspector Sadr Azam, a resident of Tajbi Khel. The other martyrs included Constable Shah Bahram and Constable Shah Khalid from Shadi Khel, Constable Haji Muhammad and Constable Gul Zada from Wargari, Constable Sakhi Zada from Pahkhel, and Constable Namdar from Ali Khel.

These brave officers embraced martyrdom while carrying out their responsibilities in the line of duty after being targeted in the cowardly terrorist attack.

Security sources say the incident once again highlights the threat posed by militant groups operating in the region and reinforces the justification for Pakistan’s ongoing Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq against terrorist elements and their support networks across the border.

By targeting local Pashtun communities and security personnel, the attackers have once again shown that their actions have nothing to do with Islam and instead reflect hostility toward peace and humanity.
