I agree with his politics, but I think he’s a poor choice because he can’t beat Bass head to head. And while he has the national spotlight he’s sucking attention away from candidates who could beat her.
The best choice is @AdamMillerLA, who is a successful entrepreneur (>$5B exit) turned not for profit CEO (focused on homelessness and addiction treatment). He’s saying all the same things as Pratt, but with far more clarity and depth.
To your point tho, Adam hasn’t been able to cut through in the same populist way that Spencer has. I just pray we get one of the two of them and don’t end up with Karen again.
@NathanpmYoung@paulg@sama@grok what are a dozen examples of a time where a revered public figure sponsored a prodigy of theirs in society, but that prodigy ended up publicly being a bad person?
Hey @friedberg@theallinpod@joerogan — Spencer Pratt is cutting through because he’s speaking to real LA anger. But if y’all are giving one LA mayoral candidate national oxygen, please also have @AdamMillerLA on. He built his education company (Cornerstone) to a $5.2B exit and thousands of employees. Ask him the same hard questions on fires, homelessness, and housing, and you will hear a level of competence none of the other candidates have.

I’ve been trying to get my small residential project through the @SCE portal for nearly four months.
No replies in the portal. Many unanswered emails, despite read receipts showing they were opened.
It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when there are no real alternatives. This process needs basic accountability and responsiveness.

Like a lot of people, I'm addicted to speech to text. However, my South African accent is not super reliably understood... So speech to text is going to accelerate my Americanization.
