UPDATE: with the surgical record in hand we now know for sure that the surgeon NICKED MY UNCLE’S JUGULAR. @SinaiHealth #MountSinaiToronto LEGITIMATELY almost killed my uncle. Are you SERIOUS?! Whoever performed his surgery should never perform another.

My uncle in Canada has suffered surgical malpractice at the hands of the surgeon who was performing surgery for his cancer.

After failing to be able to reach ANYONE at the hospital for DAYS we now know the details

Even more horrifying @SinaiHealth #MountSinaiToronto - the DOCTOR did NOT KNOW that the condition my uncle is in could be FATAL!! How did they become doctors?? How is ANY of this happening when it’s the SURGEON who caused this problem! Move him NOW. Get him what he needs NOW.

Update: they need to move him to Philadelphia but a doctor needs to sign off on the procedure and apparently hasn’t done so yet?

They’re prepared to wait two weeks because his well-being is now being held up by bureaucrasy
