Been a manic first week back with bike fits and a real pleasure to meet and work with @DerekTheWeather this morning. Lots of positive changes to bike set up and a very impressive improvement in @wattbike pedalling efficiency achieved.
It’s with a heavy heart that the BBC have announced the sad passing of #6Music previously described as ‘my strength and stay’ when it came to music, it fell into an annus horribilis from which it failed to recover.
@cardiffcouncil@Keep_Wales_Tidy I’d like to say this is rare and unusual, but it’s not. Walk out to this most days. Why do people think it’s ok to drop their crap anywhere they choose!Bins are also always overflowing even if people were moved to use them #thoughtfulNOT
@BBC6Music Gemma, let’s big up the Trini influence on carnival with Bunji Garlin’s Big Bad Soca or anything by the divine Patrice Roberts. The Magnificent Attic Salt, Cardiff, playing mas while working on BHoliday. Tricky but not impossible. A bit of Bunji would help
@LizKershawDJ Ni hao, just doing my mandarin homework and thought I would chuck a few suggestions into the new year hot pot. How about Sabbath’s War Pigs or anything by The Who, with John ‘the Ox’ Entwistle.
@ChrisHawkinsUK I’m trying to organise double denim day in work for Blue Monday and I believe that the perfect exit track to encourage greater participation is Quo’s Down Down, an unheralded classic from Francis and co. A track of such rare quality, it can banish any Monday blues
@amylame First in work, which is the case every day, but the only one in the office until 9am. Radio playing LOUD. Loved the Camper Van B track yesterday, which brought back memories of A 1,000 Violins’ Please Don’t Sandblast my House. Stephen in Newport
