Genesis 1:28 dominion-pillaging has merged with the "clean, green" mandate of sprawling "renewables," leaving nature with nowhere to hide from "progress."
As Iran/Hormuz forces high oil prices and the U.S. nears its fracking peak (2027 per EIA), it's a good time to reexamine the root cause of the 2008 "Financial Crisis."
Too many analysts claim it merely happened to coincide with a major oil price shock.

@MatthewWielicki That's right, keep cherry picking points with little context. Keep ignoring the real world in this century, since you've got ideology to uphold.
It's all about maintaining your "hero maker" stories, as explained here: https://t.co/Y61qNYaRDm
@lembitopik This old ruse, again? You've been told about water vapor's CONTEXT!
"The main greenhouse is water vapour." (But it constantly RAINS out, nullifying its larger volume.)
"CO2 makes a tiny contribution." (CO2 STAYS far longer than water vapor and modulates global temperature.)
@PeterDClack "Consequently, water vapor is by far the planet's dominant greenhouse gas, driving anywhere from 50% to 70% of the natural greenhouse effect."
You repeatedly ignore context! Water vapor keeps raining out & nullifying but CO2 STAYS & raises temperatures.

@akamagbomb@_ClimateCraze It's only "vague" for the sake of your ideological position! You people are impossibly thickheaded.
If a gas supply foreman told you to stay out of a room that got over-saturated with CO2 (potentially lethal to breathe in), would you enter it anyhow for lack of an exact ratio?
@akamagbomb@_ClimateCraze How can someone with your logic function in any sort of technical job?
"CO2 does play a role in trapping heat but it’s impossible to quantify its effect."
That's like Julian Simon's claim that oil isn't meaningfully finite because its total volume can't be precisely known.
@akamagbomb@_ClimateCraze Many areas are burning that can never be "managed" w/o vast, dedicated armies constantly wielding chainsaws, brush cutters & grass trimmers!
You enjoy repeating the same obtuse pap over and over, since learning something in real time from evidence clashes with your IDEOLOGY.
@JohannesD_B_T@robinmonotti@WeiZhangAtmos That irritating smiley with tears if a favorite of the incredulously stupid, who use it out of sheer laziness in most cases.
@robinmonotti That's the strange argument of "How could puny Man possibly do X or Y to big ol' Earth?"
You think it's also "delusional" that Man causes highly visible changes to Earth's surface & life thereon? What gives the ATMOSPHERE special immunity to Man's 24/7 burning of hydrocarbons?
@akamagbomb@_ClimateCraze That's a cherry-picked example. Lots of luck was involved and it's impossible to "manage" VAST areas unless you literally denude them of brush & grass, or trees as well for true lunatics (slides ensue).
Why is it so hard to admit that AGW is drying out vegetation? It's physics!
@_ClimateCraze@akamagbomb You keep pushing the "management" angle while pretending foliage isn't getting either chronically drier or damper in different regions.
You also pretend that CO2 'doesn't really trap more heat' when there's a lot MORE of it (thanks to Man & hydrocarbons).
https://t.co/roZJtcSTrL
@akamagbomb@_ClimateCraze Huge brushfires driven by AGW (creating chronically dry vegetation) are on a whole different scale. No need to obfuscate that with a tangent about indigenous people.
Here's a denier weaseling out of admitting that Canada's boreal fires are unprecedented: https://t.co/iAUezhKHIv
Hi Letitia,
I am a meteorologist. Maybe I can be of some help here.
The wildfire smoke we have seen recently blanketing the skies across the central / eastern U.S. came from Canada. I attached an animation below on the left for your viewing pleasure.
Suing the Trump EPA is not going to stop forest fires any more than President Trump threatening to levy tariffs on Canada will stop them. In your case, the fires aren't our nation's problem, and in Trump's case, over 50% of fires in Canada are caused by lightning and because the majority of Canada's boreal forests are in remote locations that are difficult to access, proper forest management isn't easily feasible.
As for exceedingly high temperatures, what you are describing there is, well, summer. This your first year on Earth, lady? Summers are hot. They always have been. They always will be. And, in the case of unusual heat, the average number of heatwave events per year—defined as three or more consecutive days with daily maximum temperatures ≥90th percentile relative to 1991−2020 climatology (TX90p)—have decreased by 20.2% since the beginning of the 20th century (1994−2025 average minus 1901−30).
I am interested in scientific facts, not fairytales, and your frivolous suit should be dismissed in court no sooner than it is brought forward.

@_ClimateCraze You're a peculiar sort, always dishing back the opposite of whatever evidence is presented & interpreted by actual scientists.
This takes effort on your part, and the ancient Greeks had a word for it: AMATHIA
Thorough video on this general phenomenon: https://t.co/3uPQKSi9Mo
@akamagbomb@_ClimateCraze Australian lands never managed by people burned, as with remote fires in Canada, Europe & western U.S.
As you people keep getting told: More HEAT in the system causes foliage to dry out more often, making it burn faster, regardless of ignition sources.
https://t.co/Zk2OE2LLOO
@sjsimmons@_ClimateCraze Shewhuk suffers from amathia, the ancient Greek term meaning "intelligent stupidity" or willful ignorance; not just lack of knowledge, rather the active refusal to learn or update one's views. It's a type of mental illness, to be polite.
@BGWhite42@nypost Following up to the usual crickets: People like you just sling childish insults and run way from any context that's salient, just like your liah messiah.
@DanFEWaterMan@YouTube Lake Pontchartrain, Louisiana makes Flat Earthers go silent when looking out over a distance.
When cornered, they claim the towers were rigged at different heights to annoy Flat Earthers. Imagine the engineering costs of doing such an absurd thing!
https://t.co/6gUSeEtsIF
@biton_simon Net Zero is indeed a fantasy but AGW continues, regardless of peoples' schemes to control it.
The sun isn't getting warmer, so why bring it up w/o mentioning that?
Man has unnaturally boosted CO2 from 280 ppm to 430+ ppm.
What compels people like you to be so disingenuous?
@_ClimateCraze NORMAL? What's causing record FIRES in North America & Europe (avoid replying with the "total burned area" low-context deception), and what's causing so much polar and glacial ICE to melt?
The broader question is, do you suffer from physical brain damage or just ideologyosis?
@StarkWokingMad @grok@MLSund@EU_Commission Indeed, citing TOTAL global burned area vs. regions where fires are clearly getting worse tends to be a deliberate deception.
Bjorn Lomborg did it again, and should know better. He added context but deniers latch onto the lie aspect of it.
https://t.co/MO9wVT4yyi
The world is burning less
Despite breathless climate reporting of ever-more fire
Total area burned across the world has declined over past 125 years
Reduced more than 25% over last two decades alone
Entirely uncontroversial, mostly because more people (humans don't want fire near their houses) and more agriculture (farmers don't want their crops on fire)

@BGWhite42@nypost All you can do is sling insults vs. staying on topic. You're an anti-intellectual rube posting as some sort of sage.
You say nothing about the tech issues of painting granite buildings for the same reason you won't give detailed rebuttals to CO2 science. Why be so thickheaded?
