Y’all I was quoted on CNN! This is important work — please keep supporting healthcare workers. Happy to speak with anyone who wants to start a similar program! Thank you @alaaelassar for a beautifully written piece! https://t.co/NiupwSvAaG @MNcovidsitters
Got the whole row to myself en route to #CORD2023! Can’t wait to represent @EMCM_EM at “Chief Residents 101” - starts with making sure the interns know I’m hip and cool right? 😅 #LasVegas#emergencymedicine
Hi friends!! So so happy for those that matched today!! If you or someone you know is SOAP-ing, my (truly incredible) EM program has some open spots. Would love to answer any questions!! #SOAP2023#EM#EMBound#MedEd
We are excited for those who matched with us but like many programs do have open spots for #SOAP2023 ... look us up and pass it along to your friends!

@torimarro I also always check the “511” app for my state, clicking on winter driving conditions. If it’s icy, don’t drive. You can safely drive in snow, you can’t safely drive in ice. No job is worth your life! (From the daughter of a truck driver in Minnesota)
@torimarro Go much slower than normal - slowly accelerate and allow a lot more time to slowly brake. Don’t fully stop at stop signs, just roll through slowly (otherwise you might get stuck). bridges and on/off ramps are prone to ice, slow WAY down on them (like 5mph).
Hennepin County is seeking organizations, churches, and other sites to join our warming options list. These spaces are critical for providing people relief from dangerously cold winter temperatures.

@zacharygoldst10 A piece of advice I got last year was know your audience. A lot of the questions in this thread are great, but some are more appropriate for PD (what changes are coming for the ED/hospital in the next 5-10 years?) and some better for residents (support/daily life). Good luck!
Did it hurt? When you poured out your trauma to get into med school and were praised for being resilient and then were thrown to the wolves in a toxic system that turned its back on you while asking why you weren’t resilient enough to take the abuse?
