White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia's first week on the job was already proving to be an unmitigated disaster. First, she hilariously flubbed her first briefing with reporters by reading mechanically and remedially from prepared notes, pausing awkwardly, and stumbling over her words. Right out of the gate, it became clear that she was hired because of her physical resemblance to Ivanka Trump rather than any kind of public speaking skills.

Then, it was revealed that her claims to be an "attorney" were trumped up and there is no evidence that she ever passed the bar, but supposedly she practiced law in China, where she lived for two years. Imagine if a Democrat had hired someone like this to work in the White House. Fox News hosts would be going red in the face screaming about how she's a Chinese spy.

Now, it turns out that her husband Tyler Zacharia helped his company Schulze Global Investments expand into North Korea — something that his bio on the company website for 2521 Entertainment proudly admits. According to Forbes, Schulze Global gave three substantial loans to North Korean mining companies in 2008, followed by a $1 million loan in 2011 for corn to feed workers for a North Korean company.

While the U.S. didn't place its full sanctions package on new investments in North Korea until 2016, the regime in Pyongyang has long been a brutal dictatorship that imprisons, enslaves, tortures, and murders its own people. But for the sociopaths who run in MAGA circles, those are minor details that can't be permitted to get in the way of turning a tidy profit.

Despite all of their grandstanding about opposing the communists in China and North Korea, the transnational oligarchs that run the Republican Party believe in nothing. They care about accumulating wealth at all costs, regardless of how much human suffering it's built upon. Remember that the next time you hear them ranting about how Democrats are "communists." These people don't even care about actual communists.

They were hoping for ideas to bring down grocery cost, ideas to bring down gas prices, ideas to slow cost of living and many say it was same talking points that deliver zero results.

One farmer told me the Democratic Party isn’t why we are in this mess and the only one that seems crazy was JD Vance for not being transparent on what the administration is going to do about it.

One lady who traveled from Boone, Iowa says she was told immirgarants and transgender people are the problem and she left the speech believing Republicans are the problem.
