Introducing the Scottish-American travel dictionary 🇺🇸🏴
We’ve put together this guide to keep the Tartan Army out of trouble in the States.
Read carefully to avoid confusing the locals, deeply offending the country, or being interrogated by Homeland Security over a sandwich.
Thought about this a bit more and I get the rage baiting and it’s for clicks but I am a sucker for biting.
Take away the boring stereotype of the drunken Scot which has been done to death.
This allows kids to watch Scotland at a World Cup without going to school on the Monday knackered. It hasn’t happened in 28 years. My wee boy and his pals are buzzing about it.
So essentially get yourselves to fuck.
FROM 'SABOTAGING SCOTLAND'
"Gareth, successive UK governments and their civil servants running Scotland have blocked a whole series of international port and shipping developments that would have placed Scotland firmly on the global map, doubling our trade and current ‘colonial level GDP’ too.
They include: Ardersier port, Scapa Flow container port, Hunterston container port, European Gateway Port for ferries and cruise ships at Cockenzie, building of 50+ proven design catamaran ferries under license on the Clyde, plus starting extensive multi-vessel riverbus operations on Forth, Clyde and elsewhere.
All these initiatives and more were blocked one way or another by our colonizer and their ‘little helpers’." Prof Alfred Baird
🚨🏴 Scotland is facing a massive data centre explosion and most people have no idea.
In a small village in Fife called Auchtertool.
A giant 600 megawatt AI hyperscale data centre called Cato is being proposed on farmland right next to Auchtertool in Fife, just 7 to 8 miles from the existing Queensway Park data centre in Glenrothes.
This monster project will cover around 61 acres, the size of about 35 football pitches.
One project alone using as much electricity every year as half a million Scottish homes, roughly 20% of the entire country's electricity consumption.
These hyperscale AI data centres are popping up across Scotland, sucking up massive amounts of power, water for cooling, and farmland, while we already pay some of the highest energy bills in Europe.
Scotland and its people have become the AI testing ground for the tech bro's
Are you happy with that?
Hopefully you will make a stand against this with me and others like @JamesMelville
Who has been fantastic at highlighting this all week, please have a look at his page.
To oppose this, go to the Fife Council planning portal and submit your objection now.
The application is 26/01243/PPP.
You can also contact your local councillor, your MSP, and your MP to raise concerns about the impact on our grid, bills, and countryside.
Every voice counts.
Ive put all the links in the comments including a MP template letter and planning documents.
Please share this with family and friends.

Let’s face it - this whole Peter Murrell reportage frenzy issue is because the U.K. know that Scottish Independence is on the horizon and they think digging dirt is their only hope of sustaining union. 🤷♂️
#bbcsundayshow
HAVE YOU NOTICED..
The closer Scotland gets to LEAVING the Union..
The more INTENSE the propaganda becomes.
Don’t fall into their traps..
The Scottish people will decide our future.. and nobody else.
In 2014 the British controlled the narrative and we were sucked in.
NEVER AGAIN
If this is an equal Union then why do England hold all powers over the rest of us? If Scot Wales and N Ireland want independence it should be up to us. We didnt get to stay in EU either . Its always England rule over the rest of us. Time to change and WM need to get ready. #indy
On these islands, the break up of the UK will be the defining political event of the next generation
It's now inevitable and will severely limit - maybe end - London's reign of imperial terror, which has lasted more than 400 years
All progressives should be 100% behind it
Asked why one Parliament persisted and the other ceased in 1707, the answer given by this Civitas director was:
England was bigger, wealthier and more powerful.
That's not a constitutional argument though, it's a description of annexation.
This followed a full day in which the following question was posed repeatedly and never answered: did 1707 lawfully and consensually extinguish Scotland's separate constitutional order?
Instead of answering, the exchange produced: an attempt to blur the argument using 1603, pathologisation and a 'blood and soil' smear that had to be partially retracted, repeated reframing of constitutional evidence as irrelevant antiquarianism - despite the UK Government grounding its own authority in 1707 - the hollow claim that we "just disagree" to avoid evidence-led debate, and finally a concession that Scotland's Parliament ceased while England's continued, explained away by reference to English wealth and power.
The question remains unanswered. It always does. Because the orthodox position has no answer to it.
That's important because it means they have no substantive defence on the international stage. Once exposed, all they have are legal loopholes and tricks, their legitimacy gone.
Worth also noting who posed these questions and who avoided answering them. The constitutional argument was engaged today by the Director of Civitas Schools, formerly of Debating Matters - both embedded within the 55 Tufton Street ecosystem of right-wing think tanks and state-adjacent ideological networks with a direct institutional interest in the constitutional legitimacy of the British state.
Professional debating training. Prepared positioning. Every containment move in the manual deployed in sequence. The constitutional question still unanswered.
Draw your own conclusions.
I'm sick of hearing the argument "The Welsh language is pointless"
~390,000 people in the world speak Icelandic, compared to ~500,000 fluent Welsh speakers, and ~800,000 people with some form of knowledge of the language.
Is Icelandic pointless?
The Welsh, Gaelic and Cornish languages are integral parts of these isles, they tie us to our ancestors. We have a duty to preserve them.
But only we can do it.
