I create my botanical photos using recent research so that looking at them alleviates anxiety & lifts mood & twice a yr I list frameable card sets & prints on Etsy. I haven't been able to work much recently due to depression so buying cards or a print from me would honestly help masses.Pls RT,ty🌿https://t.co/iRLlvlW7Qv
I lost count of my sober days but I think that’s OK. I know it’s been over two months. but maybe I’m not counting anymore. maybe I’m just permanently sober.
Living with post-concussive syndrome is hard in ways most people can’t see. The symptoms—headaches, dizziness, brain fog, eye strain, and constant fatigue—are invisible, but they impact everything. Mom has been living with this for 20 years with no help from neurologists - science has advanced. There are finally some options for diagnosis and possible treatments.
Simple, everyday environments like work or even a grocery store can feel overwhelming. Bright lights, movement, everyday conversations and noise can trigger anxiety, disorientation, and exhaustion. Tasks that used to be easy—focusing, remembering, switching between screens or distances—now take real effort.
Mom’s currently being treated for vestibular and cognitive dysfunction and scored exceedingly high on the post-concussive rating scale. The daily therapies themselves can be incredibly disruptive and exhausting day to day, but she’s holding onto hope for improvement.
She has an appointment with a specialist who is a neurooptometrist.
Mom also has an MRI with specialized DTI imaging scheduled to better understand past injury, brain activity, and possible atrophy. She finally has a fantastic neuro doctor who specializes in sports medicine concussions.
By the end of the day, there’s often nothing left in the tank. It can mean pulling back from social situations, struggling to keep up, and feeling isolated or misunderstood.
Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not real.
The Silsbee Police Department & Texas Rangers, with support from Season of Justice, used Othram technology to identify Allen Wayne Mosley as the perpetrator in the 1988 murder of Caroline Susan Bolen.

HOME RUN: It's a two-homer night for Henry Davis. This time it's a two-run shot to left. Second career multi-homer game. Last one came against Shohei Ohtani in Anaheim on July 21, 2023. Pirates, 8-0 -- From José Negron in Pittsburgh
This lovely dog had been hit with a truck and stuck unable for 2 weeks to move with a broken hip and a broken leg.
A massively expensive operation of about $3000 but because we had some extra donations from Rocky we were able to take it on immediately ❤️
I’ve gone back and forth on writing this. Not because I don’t want to be honest, but because it’s hard to put into words just how quickly things can unravel.
Right now, I’m sitting here with a negative bank balance. Months behind on my mortgage & only car. Trying to figure out how to put gas in the tank just to get through the week. And at the same time, I’m still trying to hold everything together for my family.
Over the past year and a half, so much has happened - my health, surgeries, recovery, the ongoing legal and unemployment issues… things that I truly believed would be resolved by now. I’ve done everything I can to push forward, to rebuild, to stay positive and keep creating, keep showing up for others.
But the truth is - right now, I’ve hit a wall.
What makes this even harder is that so much of my life has been about giving - through the stories, the conversations, the connections. I’ve always believed in showing up for people, in creating something meaningful in the world. Now I’m the one who needs that support.
If you’ve ever found value in what I’ve created, If something I’ve shared made you think, smile, or see the world differently, I’m asking, if you’re able, to help me get through this moment. No amount is too small. Truly.
If you’re able to donate even $5, $10, $20 or anything at all, or just share this, it would help us more than you know.

Grateful beyond words — With love, John
Rocky is up and about on his 2nd morning with us.
He ate a midnight snack and drank all his water. He also polished off a big breakfast just after this video.
Medical procedures start today. He’s up on his feet taking the morning in and that’s all I could have wished for.
We are completely full and we need your help.
Last week, we took in nearly 100 animals. Since then, adoptions have been incredibly slow, leaving our kennels overflowing and dogs waiting longer than they should.
We have Labs, Shepherds, puppies, and so many other deserving dogs who didn’t come in with this recent group but are still waiting, as well. Right now, they need people to show up for them.
If you’ve been thinking about adopting, please come in to our shelter. We truly have a match for everyone.

Companies said we were crazy.
Our friends and family thought we were nuts.
We are likely on government watch groups but we did it.
We found a company and the iron will to not give up.
