📄 We’ve Submitted Our Official Testimony Opposing HF 3433 & HF 3402

Ahead of tomorrow’s House Public Safety hearing, the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus has filed formal written testimony in strong opposition to HF 3433 and HF 3402.

These bills would:

• Ban some of the most commonly owned firearms in America
• Criminalize possession of standard-capacity magazines
• Turn law-abiding Minnesotans into felons for owning mainstream arms

No misuse required. Just possession.

These proposals are flatly unconstitutional. The Supreme Court has already made clear that arms in common use are protected. Minnesota lawmakers don’t get to ignore the Constitution because it’s politically convenient.

We plan to defeat these bills in the legislature.

If they are somehow forced through and signed into law, we will challenge them immediately in court — and we will win.

We’ve done it before. We’ll do it again.
