Farther Than the Moon @LindsayWrites was such an engaging & impactful read. A boy determined to include his disabled brother in space travel, as he navigates challenging factors. Very thought-provoking & yes, even life-changing. Highly recommend.
My books get to readers eventually, and for that I’m grateful, but they haven’t made many bestseller lists so thanks, Boulder! Of course, it’s likely that my sister who lives there is skewing the stats, but still.
On June 28, 2009, the world-famous physicist Stephen Hawking threw a party at the University of Cambridge, complete with balloons, hors d'oeuvres and iced champagne. Everyone was invited but no one showed up. Hawking had expected as much, because he only sent out invitations after his party had concluded.
