Yesterday, we lost two Civil Rights icons, Rep. John Lewis and C.T. Vivian. They continually fought for Black liberation and liberation for all. Their work — our work — is not done. Today, tomorrow, as long as we have to, we must continue to fight for our collective liberation.
Damn it. I hate this year so much.

This an important win, but the fight is not over.
Now it’s up to the Senate to pass the Dream and Promise Act to permanently protect Dreamers, and for presidential candidates to pledge to do the same.
