Not sure who to credit with the quote, but this has captured my thoughts and longings - God help me(/us) live gospel-shaped lives.
Gentleness should never be confused with weakness or a lack of strength - it is the opposite, Gentleness is strength stayed, like a fathers tender embrace of a baby. God is the definition of gentleness.
When you pray, remember that the power of prayer is not in the beauty of the words or the righteous deeds of the one praying, but in the character and power of the one being prayed to.
