@johnhuggan "History"

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@BQme @AlanShipnuck @rydercup Playing the ball up is never "ultimate."

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@Daniel_Rapaport If people can't spell his name correctly (admittedly it's not easy), does that make him more or less cool?

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@KylePorterCBS This is OKish

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@ChampionsTour @Brittany1golf So Kevin Millar and Tim Brown are two of the "biggest names in sports and entertainment"?

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@AlanShipnuck Isn't the correct answer to the close scheduling of the Ryder Cup and the Long Drive Championship this: no one ever considered someone doing both? (Of course, "no one considered Bryson" could be the answer to a lot of questions.)

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@deep_fried_egg @KylePorterCBS Meanwhile, MLB playoff broacasts offer an annoying exercise in small sample size obsession.

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@Daniel_Rapaport Even if you know golf, "big" is stretching it. How about "kinda big"? 🤗

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@ReggieFrederick @AlanShipnuck Nope

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@Daniel_Rapaport Thoughts:
1. Baseball and basketball at least are qualitatively different sports in the postseason.
2. It is possible for an MVP/ROY, rtc. to come from non- (or short-lived) playoff teams in other sports. This is virtually impossible on the PGA Tour.

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@ForeGolfersNet @mglbill @NBCGolf @USGA @USGAMike AAA. Been a member for years. 😖

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@JasonSobelTAN So much for "protecting the field" when it comes to this common practice. Maybe we can relax on backstopping now. 🤔

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@Daniel_Rapaport A little rain and the quarterfinals vanish into thin air.

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@Daniel_Rapaport And yet look at the list of past champions. So often, it works.

[Links Players @linksplayers]

Cool quarterfinals at US Am. Eight Americans from eight different states. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@markwilsongolf @MLB @WyndhamChamp @RickieFowler This works as "useless" buttons, too.

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@GolfweekNichols You're going to have to move to Iowa. Maybe not worth it. But lovin' it from afar rn, like you.

[Links Players @linksplayers]

Proud to say that our summer intern, Michael Cliff, has gone through to match play at the US Am. He plays @joehighsmith33, another friend of Links Players, in the round of 64 (if it ever stops raining).

[Links Players @linksplayers]

@PGATOURSMartin Rain takes the fire out, for sure.
