@NewLeftEViews The US is the first enemy of mankind precisely because it is the embodiment of capitalist civilisation; its homeland and weapons depot. It is the ultimate guarantee of bourgeois rule everywhere on the globe. https://t.co/K3OaMfhHCA
@hayxtt This is because the constituency of socialism is no longer the middle class trying to twist the power of the labour movement to its own ends, but the middle class alone. It is by its very position a class that is powerless, characterised by anxiety and worry.
@1HommeQuiDort @RotaryCordChaos @10daysinhell In this regard, it might also be worth pondering on what Marx wrote here, and the further developments of bourgeois society since then: https://t.co/VFCvYCxsDT
@Platonotov @jelecyarmulke I was replying to the statement that they were claiming that you're all the different people invoked in the post. As for that user, it's just some random Twitter person.
@jelecyarmulke He desires to distinguish himself more than he aims to clarify. This - and that he now is sure to be ahead - is his own business, and it is best to leave him alone in it. A very base level of graciousness goes a long way. He's making up multiple people and getting mad at them.
@peter_schadt The workers at Birtat were successful in their strike - they won a collective bargaining agreement. @peter_schadt here provides a back-of-an-envelope calculation in German, explaining why this does not result in a rise of Döner prices.

The employees of Birtat Meat World are striking for the first collective bargaining agreement in the German kebab industry. Many new employees joined during the strike, and they need money for food and rent. @peter_schadt is raising money for their cause, feel free to contribute.

@peter_schadt To clarify: the union has a policy that does not - or only in a limited way - grant new members access to the strike fund. While this makes sense organisationally to prevent free riders, it is an impediment when multiple strike days are necessary in a low pay sector such as here.
