(9/9) With a racism-related issue can be taken so lightly, I start to wonder this is not about individuals being racists, it's about what a company chose to protect.

Hi everyone, it has been a while. I am tweeting again because I just experienced racism myself. Feeling a bit meh and can use some support. It's a thread and involves @JohnLewisRetail. At the moment, they have offered me £5 and won't provide any further info due to 'GDPR'.

But one incident like this, is all you need to feel all the promises that made by big brands are lip service.

Fortunately, I haven't encountered much racism myself but there is always a painful reminder every now and then. And look at how insincere this apology is.
