১৯৭১ সালের মুক্তিযুদ্ধে ৩০ লাখ মানুষ কি গণহত্যার শিকার হয়েছেন?

১. স্বাভাবিক হত্যার সময়ের সংখ্যা গননা পদ্ধতি আর গনহত্যার সংখ্যা পদ্ধতি এক নয়৷Rudolph Joseph Rummel গণহত্যার পরিসংখ্যান কিভাবে করতে হয় তার এক��ি গ্রহণযোগ্য পদ্ধতি আবিষ্কার করেছেন। পদ্ধতিটি তাঁর রচিত “Estimating Democide: Methods and Procedures” শীর্ষক নিবন্ধে বিধৃত হয়েছে। তাঁর রচিত Statistics of Democide (1998) গ্রন্থের অষ্টম অধ্যায়ে তিনি অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেছেন “Statistics of Pakistan Democide, Estimates Calculation and sources” শীর্ষক নিবন্ধটি। এই নিবন্ধে Rummel তাঁর আবিষ্কৃত গণহত্যা পরিসংখ্যান পদ্ধতি অনুসারে দেখিয়েছেন যে, ১৯৭১ সালের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় বাংলাদেশে ৩০ লাখ ৩ হাজার লোক প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন।

এই পরি���ংখ্যানে কোনো একটি সময়ে (কয়েকমাস বা বছরে) বিশেষ কোনো গনহত্যাকে ফোকাস করা হয়। যেমন চুক নগর গনহত্যায় নিহতের সংখ্যা ১০ হাজার৷ ১৯৭১- এর ১ এপ্রিল থেকে ১৫ ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত চট্টগ্রামের পাহাড়তলী বধ্যভূমিতে প্রায় ২০ হাজার জনকে হত্যা করা হয়৷ ইতি��াসবিদ মুনতাসীর মামুন খুলনার গল্লামারী বধ্যভূমিতে ১০ হাজার জনকে হত্যা করা হয়।

এসকল গনহত্যার বিশেষ সময়কে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিবেচনায় নিয়ে Rudolph এর পরিসংখ্যান বিবেচনায় নিয়ে ৩০ লক্ষ শহিদের হিসেব গালগল্প নয়৷

UNHRC এর মতে ৭১ এ শহীদের সংখ্যা ২৪ লক্ষের অধিক।

২. World Bank এর হিসেব অনুযায়ি ৭১ এ বাংলাদেশে প্রতি ১ হাজারে ৪১ জন মারা যায়।তাহলে ওই সময় মোট জনসংখ্যা ছিল প্রায় ৮ কোটি। Calculation করলে দাঁড়ায় ��২ লক্ষ ৮০ হাজার।

৩ .১৯৫০-৫৫ সালে আমাদের দেশের জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধির হার ছিল ১৪.৬, ১৯৫৫-৬০ সালে ১৫.৩, ১৯৬০-৬৫ সালে ১৫.৩, ১৯৭০-৭৫ সালে হঠাৎ এটা কমে হয়ে যায় ৫.৫*, আবার ১৯৭৫-৮০ সালে বেড়ে হয় ১৪.২, ১৯৮০-৮৫ সালে ১৪.৫ এভাবে চলছে।

সত্তর থেকে পঁচাত্তরের ভেতর স্বাভাবিক জন্মহার বিবেচনায় তাহলে হারিয়ে যাওয়া মানুষের সংখ্যা দাঁড়ায় ৬৫ লাখ!

৪. এক পাকিস্তানি সৈন্য একাই প্রায় ১৪০০০ মানুষ মেরেছিল!!!

এটা আইয়ুব খানের "Diaries of Field Marshal Mohammad Ayub Khan" বই থেকে নেয়া ১১ই নভেম্বরের ঘটনা।



"একজন তরুণ অফিসার যাকে মানসিক চিকিৎসার জন্য সিএমএইচ রাওয়ালপিন্ডিতে আনা হয়েছে, সে প্রায় 14,000 মানুষকে হত্যা করেছে বলে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে। এই হত্যাকান্ডের নিছক চিন্তা তাকে খিঁচুনি এবং দুঃস্বপ্ন দেয়।"

ভাবা যায়! একজন সৈন্য একাই প্রায় ১৪০০০ মানুষ মেরেছে.... এ তো কল্পনাও কথা সম্ভব না। আর এদিকে পাকিস্তানিদের এদেশীয় বংশধররা বধ্যভূমিতে মাথার খুলির হিসাব চায়!!! ইনিয়ে বিনিয়ে নানাভাবে নানা কুযুক্তি দাঁড় করিয়ে তাদের বাবাদের অপকর্মগুলো ঢাকার চেষ্টা করে। ইতিহাসের পাতা উল্টানো চলমান রাখলে মুখ লুকানোর জায়গা পাবে এরা?



চুয়াত্তরের দুর্ভিক্ষ, "বিহারি হত্যাকাণ্ড" আর তৎকালীন রাজনৈতিক হত্যাকাণ্ডের সর্বোচ্চ সীমা ধরে হিসাব করে দেখুন সবকিছুর বিবেচনায় শহীদের সংখ্যা কত হয়? যেকোনো সোর্স থেকে মুক্তিযুদ্ধ ছাড়া বাদবাকি প্যারামিটারে সর্বোচ্চ মানগুলো গ্রহণ করলে মুক্তিযুদ্ধে শহীদের সংখ্যা ত্রিশ লাখের চেয়ে অনেক বেশিই হবে।

৫.১৯৮১ সালের UNHRC (ইউনাইটেড ন্যাশনস হ��উম্যান রাইটস কমিশন) রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী মানব সভ্যতার ইতিহাসে যতগুলো গণহত্যা সংঘটিত হয়েছে তার মধ্যে অল্প সময়ের মধ্যে সব থেকে বেশি সংখ্যক মানুষকে হত্যা করা হয়েছে ১৯৭১ সালে বাংলাদেশে।

প্রতিদিন গড়ে ৬ হাজার থেকে ১২ হাজার মানুষ তখন খুন হয়েছিল বাংলাদেশে। গণহত্যার ইতিহাসে এটাই সর্বোচ্চ গড় হিসাব। উল্লেখ্য, অপারেশন সার্চলাইটের প্রথম রাতের প্রাণহানির সংখ্যাই ছিল কমপক্ষে ৩৫ হাজার। চুকনগর গণহত্যায় প্রাণহানি ঘটেছিল ১০ হাজারেরও বেশি। ১৯৭১ সালের ২৮ মার্চে প্রকাশিত New York Times এর রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী ২৭ মার্চে প্রাণহানির সংখ্যা ১০ হাজার। ১৯৭১ সালের Sydney Moning Herald এর রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী মার্চের ২৫ থেকে ২৯ তারিখ পর্যন্ত (৫ দিনে) প্রাণহানির সংখ্যা প্রায় ১ লাখ। এতে দেখা যায়, প্রতিদিন প্রাণহানির সংখ্যা প্রায় ২০ হাজার। সুতরাং ১৯৭১ সালে বাংলাদেশে প্রাণহানির দৈনিক গড় UNHRC রিপোর্ট���র ঊর্ধ্বসীমার কাছাকাছি (প্রতিদিন ১২ হাজার) বলেই আমরা ধরে নিতে পারি।

আমাদের মুক্তিযুদ্ধ চলেছে মোট ২৬৭ দিন (২৫ মার্চ থেকে ১৬ ডিসেম্বর)। অতএব, দিনপ্রতি ১২ হাজার নিহত সংখ্যাকে ২৬৭ দিন দিয়ে গুণ করলে মোট নিহতের সংখ্যা দাঁড়ায় ৩২ লাখ ৪ হাজার। আবার UNHRC এর নির্দেশিত ঊর্ধ্বসীমা ১২ হাজার ও নিম্নসীমা ৬ হাজারের গড় যদি হয় ৯ হাজার, তবে মোট নিহতের সংখ্যা দাঁড়ায় অন্ততঃ ২৪ লাখ ৩ হাজার।

🚨 Shocking: Hefazat-e-Islam Leaders Attack Prominent #Hindu Journalist #MunniShaha, Accuse Her of Being an Indian Spy. During the incident, she was verbally abused and called an agent of India, and there was an attempt to physically assault her.

⚠️ Later, the police took Munni Shaha to Tejgaon Police Station and she was arrested in a case. It has been reported that during the student movement, a student named Naeem Howlader (17) was killed in the capital's Jatrabari area, leading to a murder case. In the case, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, along with members of the Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League, police, and RAB officials, were named as accused. Additionally, seven journalists, including Munni Shaha, were also named in the case.
