@chungking151994@Kemhadziewicz Except this is the Warner Brothers version of that so this is US version... No new scenes admittedly but some real revelations thanks to seeing more of the top of the screen which NO other version shows. Not even any VHSs. This is what they saw in Atlanta and San Diego in 1974.
@chungking151994 2/2 In the library scene for example, we see section titles above the books. The only other time I have seen those titles is on a contact sheet I cannot share yet. Thank you for posting this!
@chungking151994 This is a real gem. It is the ONLY version I've seen that has this aspect ratio which allows us to see so much more in the top of the screen. Lots of details NOT SEEN IN ANY OTHER VERSION! No new scenes but seeing more of the scenes that are in all the other theatrical cuts. 1/2
@alisonpalmer65@nunntheless That's the site of the smaller man. The hero man was burned a little ways away from there. See this map. #4 is the smaller man, #3 the hero. More info on the wiki: https://t.co/owvyOoLZyu Cheers.
@SearchWickerMan I have written up a wiki about the film and would love to share anything you'd be interested in. https://t.co/Ze88bEf1Pp
Many thanks. Cheers. John
@SearchWickerMan Hi. I am a long-time researcher of The Wicker Man and would love to talk to you about this wonderful documentary that you're working on. It sounds like you have run across some priceless archival material like the storyboards and your father's notes. (1/2)
@McadamByers@jonoganz Hi Will. I’d love to know more about this. I’ve been researching the film for many years and know the locations and most of the cast pretty well even though I have only visited Scotland once last year. See the wiki I have created too (https://t.co/Ze88bEfzEX) Thanks! Cheers.
testing, testing #twm50 Sing The Landlord's Daughter tonight at 10:10/21:10 at that hotel. We need 7 soloists. Here are the lyrics: https://t.co/Yd5oms7lWS (This is only a test. Do not go tonight.)
@tombrook Hi Tom. I too was in the recent NHK documentary about John Lennon's Imagine. I'd be curious to talk about it if you can. (Especially hoping an English transcript is available somewhere.) Cheers!
@BrittEkland 3/3….pics or movies? Anything would be very much appreciated. Many thanks. John L Here’s some of my work: https://t.co/Ze88bEf1Pp Also a behind the scenes pic from Leslie Mackie of your daughter Victoria.
@BrittEkland 2/3 Yours would be very helpful to help fans understand how the film was made. I’d be happy to scan it and return it to you or perhaps someone who works for you can do that? If not the script, is there anything else you can share with fans? Stories, behind the scenes
@BrittEkland 1/3 Hi Britt, I’m a long-time fan of the The Wicker Man and have contributed much to researching it over the past 20 years. Awhile back, you mentioned you still had your script. Would there be any chance that could be shared? We’ve seen a few versions of the scripts.
@UrbanHomeOffice Hi Rob. I am wondering if you might be the guy who drew this back in 1971. It's signed R Matturo, '71. I found it in the Greenwich dump/recycling center sometime between 1992 and 2003. Cheers!
