On a personal note, my FIL passed away 2 weeks ago. He was the first to accept me, so it hurt. The poem "do not weep for me" helped somehow.

@miles_was_her For me, i think about grief is like you are shipwrecked in a storm, holding onto a piece of driftwood. As you get further and further away from the storm,you will still have waves of sadness, but they will be more manageable.
