My father, Imran Khan, is in prison because he stood up for democracy. He is held in solitary confinement, denied access to his doctors, and restricted from meeting his lawyers and family. At the same time, members of his family and thousands of his supporters have been abducted or dragged before military courts. This is not justice - it is political revenge. 🚨🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN BLASTS ASIM MUNIR, VOWS DEFIANCE FROM JAIL

Speaking from Adiala Jail, Imran Khan accused Army Chief Asim Munir of imposing “the worst kind of dictatorship,” orchestrating May 9, and persecuting his family through abductions and solitary confinement of his wife, Bushra Bibi.

Khan declared he will never bow, calling Munir’s actions a betrayal of Islam and morality.

He urged PTI’s Ali Amin Gandapur to seek Supreme Court approval for meetings and condemned military operations, drone strikes, and refugee expulsions.

Imran promised resistance, rejecting by-elections and announcing a mass rally in Peshawar.

🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN'S SISTER: "IMRAN ORDERS PTI TO QUIT COMMITTEES, CONDEMNS SOLITARY CONFINEMENT OF HIS WIFE"

After her rare prison visit, Aleema Khan relayed new instructions from Imran, who has told PTI lawmakers to immediately resign from all standing and other National Assembly committees.

She also shared his anger at the treatment of his wife, Bushra Bibi, and the collapse of rule of law in Pakistan, warning that media has been muzzled to the point where people no longer trust mainstream outlets.

“One directive that Imran Khan has just sent to his party - which he has now announced - is that PTI should withdraw from all National Assembly committees.

He said whichever committees they are - standing committees or any other - PTI members should immediately resign from them.

These were his instructions to the party today, in connection with the upcoming elections.

Imran Khan said about Bushra Bibi that what they are doing with her is unheard of - that a woman has been put into solitary confinement.

The maximum limit of solitary confinement is four days, after which it is considered torture.

But here, months have gone by and Bushra Bibi is still in solitary confinement.

It is a small relief that she has a television, but Imran Khan himself was in complete solitary confinement for a long time.

He said that now at least he is allowed one newspaper, so he gets a little bit of news, which was encouraging to hear.

Then Imran Khan said, ‘If our judiciary and judges had a conscience and acted accordingly, if they gave justice to the people of Pakistan, then this oppression would never have happened.'

He added, ‘Today, the biggest reason for the human rights crisis and oppression in Pakistan is our judiciary because they failed to provide justice.

If they had, this would never have happened.’”

Pakistan’s politics has always been ruthless.

But what we’re watching under General Asim Munir’s so-called “Asim Law” is something else entirely: the weaponization of family ties.

Imran Khan - jailed for over 2 years.

His wife Bushra Bibi - locked up almost as long.

Sisters dragged through “fabricated” cases, hauled in and out of courtrooms.

Nephews tried by military courts, abducted from homes and cars, paraded as trophies of the state.

This isn’t rule of law. It’s collective punishment - guilt by bloodline.

A message to every dissenter: your family is fair game.

The irony: A government that claims to defend democracy is normalizing tactics straight out of martial law’s darkest playbook.

The optics are catastrophic: instead of breaking Khan, they’re canonizing him - turning his clan into symbols of persecution.

Call it strategy, call it paranoia, call it vendetta.

Whatever the label, history will record this moment for what it is: not justice, but retribution.

In a blistering press conference, Aleema Khan said her home was raided just hours after Imran was granted bail by the Supreme Court.

My elder son Shahrez Khan was abducted last night & was brought to court today & has been remanded for 7 days.”

Shahrez, Imran’s nephew, has no political role - but that hasn’t stopped the regime from turning family members into hostages in its post-bail meltdown.

🚨🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN AND WIFE SUFFER HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES IN JAIL

Imran Khan remains in complete solitary confinement with no access to family, lawyers, books, or media.

He has been cut off entirely from the outside world.

“I am completely isolated. My family is not allowed to meet me.

No one is allowed to speak to me.

I’m not being given my books, newspapers or access to TV.

I am not allowed to meet my lawyers.

It’s a complete violation of my human rights.”

His wife, Bushra Imran, has recently suffered an electric shock, carries insect bite wounds from her cell, and is forced to shower with muddy water.

Family visits are banned and even her meetings with Imran Khan have been cancelled.

This mental and physical torture of both violates not only Pakistan’s jail rules but also the most basic principles of human rights.
