@RoyalMailHelp DM sent yesterday, it would be great if @RoyalMailHelp can actually resolve this but I'm losing faith as the postal system doesn't seem to be working particularly well from my experience so far...
I'm moving to Uppsala 🇸🇪! Searching for a job in #archaeology#research or #museums but struggling as not fluent in Swedish. I have a PhD in medieval arch specialising in pottery, excavation management experience and been a museum head curator. Pls RT / DM any leads, thank you!

Tah-dah! Tuesday was a rather hot one to say the least, but I am proud to have celebrated passing my PhD (back in January) with my biggest supporters.

On July 10-11 Im walking 100km continuously around the Isle of Wight to raise awareness of Early Onset Dementia and money for @alzheimerssoc a charity very close to my heart fighting a disease which impacts me everyday. Want to know more? Take a look at https://t.co/wvP19YEWb0
retired next door neighbours just gave me a box of chocolates saying “we’ve see you working a lot of late night hours recently and we heard it was your birthday last week so here’s a little something to keep you going and make sure you take a break” I’m not crying... #phdlife
@thisisstrata Mine finishes at the end of June 2021... maybe I’ve made a mistake completing enrolment not checking that. I’m still a yr3 until January 2021 as well! oh dear 🤦🏼♀️
@CnfDumenil @SameraVinson She’s been putting in a lot more hours (and overtime) since Covid, I think she’ll deserve to share the title 😂 although her typing skills could do with some practice!
Is it acceptable to have a co-author on a PhD thesis? Does anyone know how to credit a rabbit as a co-author? Especially helpful at nibbling pages to mark the important ones... #AcademicChatter#phdlife#bunnyacademics
@DrVeronikaCH@AcademicChatter Glad I’m not the only person who does this :) I think if it was up to her, the thesis would be dedicated to her, not just added to the acknowledgments!
Continuing our #TinyTalk reflections, @lisaback_house tells us how Cardiff Archaeology Made her Childhood Dreams Come True
(Sorry, there's just something in our eye?? Maybe someone is chopping onions out here??)

2 days ago I learned of the passing of mentor and dear friend; I will always value the knowledge and never-ending support he gave me. My PhD would not be possible without his guidance and the great legacy he leaves behind; I hope my thesis pays tribute to his memory. RIP Nigel x
