You’ve got to be next level thick as pig shit if you think todays problems have been caused by a government that has been in power for 5 months and not the last 14 years.

Please retweet CONVICTED | Sheldon Turner, 36, and Lucy Blackmore, 43, from #Bridgwater, #Somerset – failed to get treatment for a French bulldog with multiple unexplained injuries- locked in small plastic container. AVOID JAIL‼️
On 13 December 2023, police attended Blackmore’s home after concerns were raised for the safety of a dog at the address.
Police were told that the dog, known as Pepsi, was outside. They found her in the back garden inside a small rectangular container with a heavy hose pipe on top holding the lid down. Police lifted the lid and inside was Pepsi who they described as looking “absolutely petrified”.
She had noticeable injuries to her face which were bleeding.
Police noted that “There was no way she could have got out of the container due to the weight of the hose pipe on top of the lid to the container”.
Pepsi, who had been in the couple’s care for just six weeks, was taken to a vet where she was treated for a broken leg, which sadly had to be amputated. She also had multiple grazes and bruises and a 3cm cut to her face, as well as inflamed feet and problems with her eyes and ears.
The vet who examined her found the bruising grazes and lacerations would have been from four to 24 hours before the presentation and the fractured limb two to six weeks before.
The vet said these were evidence of blunt force trauma.
The dog’s ear and eye issues would have been going on for longer, with scarring and vision loss as a result of the dry eye.
Pepsi has been nursed back to health by the team at RSPCA North Somerset Branch (Brent Knoll Animal Centre). During her recovery, the team were dedicated to showing her the love and kindness she deserves as she gets ready to find a new home.
Two other dogs in Turner’s care can also now be rehomed.
Sentencing |
Turner: 18-month community order with 30 days of rehabilitation; £80 fine, £114 surcharge and £400 costs.
Blackmore: £200 fine, £160 victim surcharge, and £400 costs.
Both are banned from having animals for 10 years but can appeal after five years.

Once there were public libraries, youth clubs, swimming baths, Social Housing, NHS Dentists, Same day GP's, free milk in schools & free school dinners, and even lower taxes.
Now all we have is Privatisation, outrageous profits, 173 billionaires and no Public Services.
Disgraceful treatment of an elected MP. The only qualifications Clive needs are the votes cast two weeks ago. Being forced to swear a nonsense oath to do the job he was elected to is appalling. Time to introduce a choice, so MPs can swear allegiance to country and constituents.
England has the only privatised Water in Europe, the most water pollution, and the most expensive water.
The UK has the only fully privatised energy, and the most expensive.
England has privatised rail, the slowest, least reliable and of course the most expensive in Europe.
If I had not re-sworn the oath, then based on a law from 1866, I could be fined, subjected to legal action, and my seat "shall be vacated in the same manner as if [I] were dead".
This should change, so MPs have the choice to swear allegiance to our constituents and democracy.
King Charles who loves killing foxes, birds, and badgers has been made Patron of the RSPCA.
King Charles used his power to block a ban on Fox Hunting and to make sure it is the joke ban we currently have.
RT if the RSPCA should remove him.

My heart breaks for Carol, Hannah and Louise.
A woman is killed by a man every 3 days in the UK. They’re not a statistic, but people whose lives and dreams were cruelly stolen from them.
Male violence and misogyny are endemic. We demand a world where women are safe and free.
Still no sign of a minister for Disabled people?
Can anyone at @UKLabour assure the countries 14 million plus and growing Disabled community that our interests ARE part of your promised change?
