@jacobincambodia I’m beyond devastated and disgusted by Thai military action against humanity. At this point, at what cost? Thousands of innocent civilians are killed and infrastructure are destroyed. How crazy and inhumane they are!!
A genuine and sustainable ceasefire indeed cannot rely on statements alone.
It requires mutual restraint, verified facts, and equal commitment from both sides especially the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Any ceasefire framework must address actions on the ground by all parties, including cross-border strikes, displacement of civilians, and damage far from the conflict line.
Peace cannot be built by placing the burden on one side only. It requires balanced responsibility, transparency, and adherence to international law.
True ASEAN unity begins with accountability, proportionality, and respect for human life without selective laws or narratives.
@ChmnphiS@jacobincambodia It’s not about telling one side to raise a white flag. A ceasefire requires equal commitment from both nations, not pressure on just one.
Three different types of Thai fighter jets have now been used against a country with no air force.
No air defense capability.
No fighter jets.
No combat aircraft.
This is not air parity or deterrence. It is the repeated use of advanced air power against a state with no ability to respond in the air.
Even Thailand is now showing Red eyes to us.

At 9:40 AM on 24 December 2025, the Thai military fired artillery shells into a Cambodian civilian area in Koun Trei Village (near National Road No. 5), Koub Commune, Ou Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province, resulting in two civilians, including one child, sustaining serious injuries. Children waiting for their parents at school after the T-50 airstrike near Phnom Sopov in Battambang earlier today. Their expressions show fear and uncertainty as fighting moves further inland and affects civilian areas. This needs to stop.
Destroying a Hindu deity’s statue under the pretext of a border dispute is unacceptable. Whether placed by Cambodia or not, attacking faith and heritage only exposes intolerance.
Both Thailand and Cambodia are Buddhist nations, yet history records repeated persecution of Hindu temples and attempts to erase them. Violence against sacred symbols cannot be whitewashed with slogans. No religion proves its “peace” by destroying another’s faith.

At 10:00 am (December 24, 2025), the Thai military used T-50 fighter jets to drop four bombs into a civilian residential area deep into Cambodian sovereign territory in Banan district, Battambang province, along the route to Pailin Province, before continuing toward Chanthaburi Province. The T-50 is an aircraft manufactured in South Korea. So far, the Thai military has used three types of aircraft—made in the United States, Sweden, and South Korea—to carry out attacks on Cambodia.”

It is truly heartbreaking when we see the precious heritage of ancient Hindu Khmer temple is destroyed by Thailand. This sacred heritage belong to all humanity. Thailand think that it is not belong to them. I reached temple a year ago. Visit my video. https://t.co/t0jOfmZECu
