@GeogChat I think student voice is essential in curriculum planning, we want our learners to be involved, engaged and pro-active. I am lucky to work somewhere where students have opportunities to co-design their some of their learning and assessments.
@Kelly_J_Scott After playing with it, it’s knowledge base ends in 2021. It cannot utilise or comment on material produced after that… I’m considering mandating very recent material be utilised by students !
With some of my parliamentary colleagues today announcing the partnership of our Tonsley Technical College with the Australian Science and Maths School. This will provide a key pathway to employment for students to complete their SACE while developing vital workplace skills.
Watching the news tonight thinking that in the Ukraine there is a middle aged teacher like me. The difference being one of us is not fearing for their life or fearing a foreign oppressor’s influence on their future. 🇺🇦
@CerebralDoc As a senior high school teacher I see the stress that just getting to or attempting to get to the starting point of medicine places on students. When they get a place, a worry in my heart about their well-being accompanies the congratulations I extend to them.
