Mona Heidari was sold by her Muslim father at age 12 into a forced marriage with a monster. Her Muslim husband beat her if she failed to satisfy him sexually, feed him, or remain silent.

He subjected her to inhumane abuse and torture, enabled by Islamic authority. He tortured, raped, and inflicted sadistic violence on her, calling it marriage. She fell into depression shortly after the arranged marriage. At age 17, severely depressed and broken, unable to please him, she sought divorce and escape from Iran. He called his Muslim brother to punish her for disobedience.

They tied her hands and feet and tortured her to inflict maximum pain, ignoring her cries for mercy. No one called the police. In Iran under Islamic law, husbands are required to beat wives for discipline.

During the prolonged torment, the brothers mutilated her living body. Once she was too weak to resist, the enraged husband beheaded her. He then paraded her severed head through Ahvaz streets to restore family honor, showing pride.

Like many child brides in Iran and the Muslim world, Mona endured inhumane treatment from her husband and family, who knew of her suffering but blamed her for failing to obey.

Thousands of women in the Middle East and Asia are murdered yearly in “honor” killings—executions for dishonoring families or challenging male dominance.

Muslims may view these Islamic practices as justice fitting the will of Allah. In the civilized world, they are crimes against humanity, women, and human dignity.

Western leaders must not sacrifice women’s rights for political survival. Migrants seeking Western settlement must reject Islam’s Sharia laws or face asylum rejection.

This is not a “cultural difference.” This is barbarism enabled by Islamic doctrine. The West has no obligation to import or tolerate systems that treat women and girls as property to be bought, raped, tortured, and murdered.

Context: Grant had just spent ten days locked in trench warfare at Cold Harbor, Virginia, after a frontal assault on June 3 that cost him thousands of men in under an hour. He admitted it was the worst mistake of his career. The armies were so close that soldiers could not lift their heads above the dirt in daylight.

Everyone, including Lee, expected Grant to do what every Union commander before him did after a bloody repulse: retreat north and regroup.

Instead, on the night of June 12, Grant did something audacious. He pulled the entire Army of the Potomac out of trenches that were in some places only yards from Confederate lines. No bugles, no fires, wheels muffled. By morning the Union trenches were empty and Lee's scouts found nothing but abandoned earthworks.

The army marched south, away from Richmond, which made no sense to Confederate observers. Then Union engineers did something almost nobody thought possible: they threw a pontoon bridge across the James River, roughly 2,100 feet of it, over water up to 85 feet deep with a four-foot tidal swing. They built it in about eight hours. It was one of the longest floating bridges in military history.

For three full days Lee was effectively blind, unsure whether Grant was north or south of the James. By the time the picture cleared, Grant's army was across the river attacking Petersburg, the rail hub that fed Richmond.

The siege that followed lasted nine months and ended with Lee's surrender at Appomattox.

Everyone remembers Cold Harbor as Grant's worst day. Almost nobody remembers that one week later he pulled off the maneuver that won the war.

A 15-year-old girl who had loved wrestling since she was four got put on a mat against a fucking male while the adults in charge knew exactly what they were doing.

She didn’t know. They did. By the end of that match she was sobbing and running to her mother after getting digitally raped through her singlet. She still had to shake the bastard’s hand. Her own coaches just walked the fuck away.

Her mother reported it the next day like any decent parent would. The law and their own policy said report it to the Title IX coordinator immediately and get law enforcement involved within 48 hours.

These gutless fucks did nothing for 53 days. Fifty-three fucking days of silence while they protected their precious policy and kept letting males into girls’ sports.

Only when a journalist started asking questions did these cowards suddenly remember how to do their fucking jobs. The next day they finally filed the report.

The principal had the balls to call the mother afterward and say they take this shit “very seriously.” Seriously? You spineless pricks sat on a sexual assault complaint for nearly two months and only moved when the press showed up.

And what did it cost? The girl quit wrestling. A sport she’d loved since she was four years old. She quit because she no longer trusted the adults in charge to protect her. Students bullied the shit out of her after the story broke and not one coach or administrator lifted a finger to stop it.

They protected the policy. They protected their own asses. They left the girl to carry it alone. Fuck every last one of them.
