“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.”
Don't wait for the opportunity to come, it may never arrive! Seek it out, work through the difficulties, stay consistent & You WILL attain the success you seek!
#TuesdayThoughts
I'm convinced that it’s perfectly ok to live a life that looks confusing to others. Wake up early. Do hard things. Focus deeply. Eat real foods. Go on walks. Obsess over one thing. Read old books. Avoid drama. Save money. Never gossip. Love your people. Recipe for a good life.
Chapter 19: The Waiting Room Was Never the Destination
The hardest part wasn’t becoming capable it was learning that I didn’t need someone else’s permission to become who I was meant to be. Every setback was preparing me to trust myself instead of waiting to be chosen.
The older I get, the more I realize the power of emotional consistency. The ability to show up as the same person when you’re tired, stressed, or under pressure. Anyone can shine when life is smooth. It’s rare to remain steady even when the day gives you every reason not to.
When priorities compete, effort gets scattered. Understanding what needs to be done creates compliance. Understanding why it matters creates commitment. As leaders, our responsibility is to connect the task to the purpose and turn compliance into commitment.
Being told you’re ready and being given the opportunity are not the same thing.
The challenge is continuing to prepare while you wait for the opportunity to align.
The question is: How do you know when patience is the right investment or when it’s time to seek growth elsewhere?
Being ready but not chosen doesn’t mean you’ve hit a ceiling; it means your timing is being tested. You’ve reached a plateau, the place between mastery and visibility. This is where many leaders quit emotionally just before the next door opens.

A bad coach tears people down. An average coach focuses only on results. A good coach teaches skills and systems. A great coach builds confidence and trust. An exceptional coach helps people believe in themselves at a higher level. And the best coaches impact lives long after the scoreboard stops mattering.
The hardest role you’ll ever have to play is being your child’s light when your own world is falling apart. Holding them close and steady while you’re breaking. Smiling through pain and creating joy because their hearts deserve peace. That’s the bravery no one ever talks about.
Read more books. Read to escape reality. Read to understand reality. Read to challenge what you believe. Read to think better. Read to write better. Read to argue better. Read to know yourself. Read to build something. A single book can completely rewire your brain.
