@AerLingus Thank you @AerLingus can you ask them to answer the question I am asking instead of a generic email where they are not explaining to me why male passengers are receiving compensation but females are not

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

@AerLingus are paying claims based on gender of the claimant... 5 colleagues on a flight, all booked through the same travel agent, 2 male claims are paid, 3 females rejected

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

@SamanthaLibreri @SamanthaLibreri a little late to this but my flight on the 11th was delayed as a knock on. I was travelling with colleagues the 3 male colleagues received their compensation and 4 females were rejected and told our flight delays were due to weather @AerLingus

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

@AerLingus I can't believe another MALE passenger from my flight received his compensation

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

@AerLingus 8998562

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

@AerLingus But I'm being told it was due to weather and my male colleagues have been told it was due to an IT system error and received compensation

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

@AerLingus @POSHP No, I've been told my case isn't being reviewed.

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

@AerLingus why has my compensation claim for 11 Sept been rejected when it was widely acknowledged the issues on that weekend were due to IT system? Also my friend on the same flight received their refund...

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

@POSHP @AerLingus They're saying weather but my male colleagues on the same flight received their compensation. Ridiculous

[Lisa O'Halloran @lisaoh22]

Looks like @AerLingus are paying claims based on gender of the claimant... 5 colleagues on a flight, all booked through the same travel agent, 2 male claims are paid, 3 females rejected

Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has said that the Covid-19 curve has now been flattened and that there is no peak coming. This is as a result of all the hard work in communities and the measures that have saved "hundreds of lives", he said.

Ireland has conducted close to 5,000 tests (4,852) for coronavirus in the last 7 days. On a per capita basis, that's 7x more than USA and 6x more than UK conducted in same period.

That is a truly outstanding effort from everyone involved, particularly Irish doctors and nurses.
