@LNER There’s not much the staff on the service can do as the train is packed. Maybe you need a old-school ticket in the seats system as back up? Or an IT dept that works weekends? And a more reliable food and drink supplier...
@LNER there’s a sign on the train asking how our journey is going. As you asked: It’s on time but no buffet at all on outbound train from London to Yorkshire and no seat reservations upheld on return. Not good enough at any price but especially not for £120 worth of tickets.
Bought a second-hand Agatha Christie (always an essential purchase) from @CarnBooks and realised, despite having 41 on my bookshelves, I am nowhere near owning her collection. Plenty more house parties to attend and murders to solve
We’re feeling v pleased that our November issue arrived with subscribers this weekend wrapped in #bioplastic film made from potato starch. You can compost it at home or via green waste recycling. Nice. #plasticfree
Sat in my garden in shorts looking @simplethingsmag Christmas issues before our festive planning meeting next week. Living in the moment? Some irony there, I feel. Fancy a mince pie now though. #ChristmasInJuly
Open air art, 50s cardigans and cherry ice-cream cake. Oh and wise words from @orlakiely. Plus the best of your Happiness Patch designs. The July DISCOVER issue is now on sale.
Wahoo it’s new issue cover reveal time – it’s a beaut ✨
