I like to write and comment. I follow people who also comment/post. I’m a conservative who checks sources and weighs the validity of “theories”. No “Q”. 🙄
At least since the 1980s, “soccer” has been a childhood sport of generations of Americans. Saturdays and Sundays are full of elementary kids in their cleats and jerseys following a black-and-white ball around a field. I was one of them. Now America is really international, throughout the 20+ years of my adult life. I have seen this sport move from a childhood pass time to more serious college sport, and it’s becoming ever more popular. It’s not just military kids growing up overseas, it’s the Indian families that live in Dallas that have raised very Americanized, but soccer playing children. It’s the South American families that moved up here a decade ago when their kids were 10 and nine. Another sport that’s really becoming popular… lacrosse.
You know, i’m pretty sure that the majority of Americans, should we have a lost the match, would not have said “f___ Australians”. In fact, I’m pretty sure that I’ve never actually heard that phrase. Most of us around here teach our athletes to use the phrase “good game” whether or not we win. That doesn’t keep us from celebrating if we do (bigly), it just means that we see it as in poor taste to curse our opponents.
@Alonso_GD I really think all the hating on this one simple post is caused by 2 core issues 1) people who are jealous they couldn’t come 2) people whose world view of the USA is being interfered with by genuine experiences of others. Also those whose countries didn’t qualify.
@BizzaroMakeWord Why are you arrogant enough to think that you can decide what the average American thinks? Because you read a few tweets designed to rage engage? 😆
⚠️ WARNING TO AMERICANS: THE PROPAGANDA WAR IS IN FULL SWING
The war involving Iran is moving fast.
But the disinformation is moving faster.
In just the last 24 hours we’ve seen:
• The 2020 Beirut port explosion recycled as a “strike on Tehran.”
• AI-generated “mushroom clouds” with impossible physics.
• Fake missile clips labeled as live attacks on U.S. bases.
• Old Iraq and Syria footage repackaged as breaking news.
Russia amplifies.
China amplifies.
Iranian and Iraqi propaganda networks amplify.
Engagement farms amplify.
Fear spreads.
Truth lags.
Real verified footage from credible outlets shows:
Smoke plumes over military targets.
Iron Dome intercept streaks.
Localized fires.
Not Hollywood apocalyptic city-level detonations.
If you’re seeing massive cinematic explosions splitting skyscrapers perfectly down the middle… that’s your first clue.
Conventional warheads do not create clean “movie scene” symmetry.
How to filter fast:
Reverse image search keyframes.
Check replies for debunks.
Look for Reuters, AP, AFP, Al Jazeera, CENTCOM, IDF releases.
If it looks too perfect… it’s probably fake.
The fog of war is thick.
Propaganda thrives in chaos.
When you repost fake war footage, you become part of the psychological operation.
Don’t do their job for them.
Stay sharp.
Verify before you amplify.
Truth is a weapon too.
