The oil and gas companies in the world will make €3.9 trillion this year (@IEA) - that’s twice last year.

#Budget2023 responds to the huge need for progress in welfare and employment supports - 80c rise in the minimum wage, €12 increase in social welfare rates from the 1st Jan. Also, Autumn & Christmas bonus social welfare payments. €400 fuel allowance lump sum payment.
Really positive to see the continuation of the 20% cut in public transport fares, and 50% Youth Travel Card Reduction. #Budget2023 This is the direction we need to keep traveling in - and more.
To help householders with rising energy costs, three separate electricity credits totaling €600 will be paid in the coming months. This #Budget2023 has responded to the pressure that families are under this year, while making the right investments to secure our #energy future.

Fantastic to see such ambitious reforms to the Senior Cycle and #LeavingCert that are focused on inclusion of the needs of all young people. Also, so important to have Climate Action & Sustainability as an option, and expansion of creative options in Drama, Film & Theatre Studies
