@AskCapitalOne can you stop sending me spam mail that says my account is going to be restricted? I do not have an account with you. Don’t you verify your customer’s email addresses?
@elonmusk has ruined Twitter. he has no idea how the platform is used. i just spent 5-10 minutes on a needless captcha because of his ignorance
and the captcha would be illegal in Ontario. it’s unclear as heck and has no audio option. set up to trap people into making errors
@proquest Why can’t you turn of this stupid @recaptcha? It has a 100% false positive rate and it’s absolutely insulting to your users. How is anyone behind a password-protected site a bot?
Twitter under @ElonMusk has gotten more buggy, not less. I post a thing and it doesn’t show up, I post the same thing and it says I’ve already posted it. Nuts.
Oh wait, it’s X now right? I my first language X means f***. Very appropriate.
@stationfixation I actually do take the subway to IKEA (and Canadian Tire); I don’t drive. I haven’t lugged a Billy on the subway but I’ve taken an Ivar (and other things). I usually get off at Bessarion though, though I *might* get back home from Leslie
@toggltrack The website has been broken since yesterday. After logging in it’d be stuck at the splash screen. Dev Tools shows a js file has crashed with a syntax error.
@DHLpaket Why is your tracking system so buggy? I got a tracking link 2 days ago and 99% of the time it does not work. It worked one time earlier today and it’s now not working.
How can potential new customers have any confidence when something as basic as tracking doesn’t work?
This is such awful news. Richard was a guest on @TheAgenda less than 3 months ago on a topic he cared deeply about: merit AND equity in education. The cause of his death should prompt a thorough investigation. #education@tdsb
and BTW, they’ll tell you to “turn off your ad blocker” (good luck if you’re using something like @FirefoxFocus). don’t bother. i tried it and it doesn’t make a difference.
just to document this, but @TorontoStar just made a whole bunch (all?) of their articles subscriber-only — literally made the change yesterday, on a Friday
what does this mean? it means the Star is no longer useful as a reference for @Wikipedia, so I will no longer cite the Star
@mgeist No, it’s not a good thing, but honestly, who still uses Facebook these days? My professional network is on Facebook and I don’t even go on Facebook any more; the #UX is so bad it’s unusable, they’ve completely ruined it
I was undecided. Then I heard the news that both Doug Ford and Saunders have attacked @OliviaChow, so thank you both I guess? I now know who I’m voting for, it’s Olivia Chow. #torontoelection
.@Google is just becoming more and more evil by the day. It has now stopped receiving mail from correctly configured servers, citing the need to “protect” its users (read: “we know our #AI is trash”)
Meanwhile, @GMail is now the single biggest source of spam in my inbox.
@SlackHQ What kind of question is that? It literally still worked three weeks ago. What kind of browser and OS are YOU guys using? I bet it isn’t Linux and it’s not one of these modern privacy-centred browsers.
why does @ElonMusk make @Twitter harder and harder to use? to drive people away? Twitter is now even slower than before and a hassle to even post one tweet
it’s @JustinTrudeau who needs to “wake up”. he just proved he’s the one tearing Canada apart by passing C-11 into law. he has no idea how @YouTube works. i’m not a content creator but Canadian content creators are now screwed.
