@OnceAManwhore “yea, yea. i guess! we could always
just surprise her and you guys talk about
it later. every decision doesn’t have to
be made by both of you.”
sighing, eyes rolling as she
crossed her arms. hopefully
her dad would save her from
this conversation soon.
“i learned that super glue and
your teacher aren’t a good mix.”
narrowing her eyes at her
daughter, her right eyebrow
still raised, callie cleared her
throat
“he’s finishing up something
and then he’ll be here. now,
shall I call the school now
or are you going to talk while
we’re waiting for him?”
“are you going to tell me or
will I have to call them myself?”
a raised eyebrow quickly
crossed the woman’s face,
before a slow nod.
“we can do a family dinner
soon, but first you need to
talk”
“let’s just say the teachers
don’t like me and i don’t like
them. how about a family
dinner and then ice cream?
that sounds delicious!”
shrugging her shoulders,
another laugh briefly passing
as she said spoke as little as
possible on the matter.
with a raised eyebrow as the
child pulled away, callie would
scrunch up her nose slightly
“we can, of course, however
why will I hear about why
school has been so crappy?”
“i’m okay. better now that
i’m back with you and papa!
school has been crappy, but
i’m sure you’ll hear all about
it later.”
laughter slipping through her
smile for a brief moment, she
pulled away only to move past
her last statement.
+
“it is. it was a bit scary for a bit,
but luckily i finally convinced him
to listen to me. things are better
now and he’s a lot better now.”
slowly rubbing her back, callie
placed a soft kiss on her daughters
head
“how arw you?”
