I invested in the Hytopia seed round ~2 years ago + have bought lots of $TOPIA on the open market, I have refrained from tweeting about it until now.

After some internal pivots I believe Hytopia is now on track to create the most promising UGC gaming platform in all of crypto which could one day rival Roblox ($87B market cap) & Minecraft.

The strong fundamental improvements Hytopia has over Roblox & Minecraft are:

#1 - Huge opportunity for a more vibrant economy via NFTs.

With Hytopia users actually own their items and can cash them out without being completely rinsed on fees or using black/grey markets.

This should significantly increase the velocity and willingness to spend on various in-game economies given users can easily cash out (vs buying items in other games have way more friction to recoup $ spent let alone make money).

I truly believe crypto is the enabler for a Ready Player One type reality and Hytopia is on the forefront here.

#2 - Hytopia is 100% web based and mobile compatible making it extremely easy to sign on and play vs downloading the Roblox or Minecraft clients.

#3 - Hytopia has better revenue sharing mechanics for creators.

Creators earn 35% on first party sales and 5% on secondary market sales (given point #1 this is HUGE and popular games could generate insane fees for creators) vs Roblox creators earn ~25% on first party sales and only earn secondary market sale royalties on select items.

Games like CSGO have ~$8B in skins traded volume annually with 15% in secondaries market fees! Imagine dropping the fees here and increasing the velocity / price people are willing to pay because they know its easier to cash out?

#4 - Hytopia's AI game building engine allows new developers to spin up games increasingly quickly with a growing library to pull from (gets better as more developers contribute). Roblox is starting to implement AI tools into their developer toolkit but the Hytopia engine has been designed from the ground up with AI in mind.

Note that $TOPIA is being retired and holders will be airdropped $HYBUX which will be launched on @base in the coming weeks, along with massive platform updates (live game engine, marketplace, tons of developers working on new games, etc).
