Realtime infrastructure for multiplayer apps and agents

[Liveblocks @liveblocks]

AI agents are becoming native users of software.

Today, we’re kicking off Unveil Week with a broader vision than human-only collaborative features. Software itself needs to change for the age of agents.

Even if it’s just you and an AI agent, it’s multiplayer.

Your work has to stay in sync across tabs, survive dropped connections, and update live when an agent makes changes.

@trywindmill used @liveblocks to built their platform around this.

When an AI agent edits your document, it's a collaborator. It should behave like one.

@trywindmill built their performance platform agent-first, so AI edits appear live in the same documents people use.

Liveblocks powers their realtime collaboration.

I've built an open-source Slack clone!

It has threaded messages, DMs, AI collaborators, activity feed, more! It's all powered by a single @liveblocks multiplayer primitive—feeds.

Start your realtime chatting app with our latest example.

It features threaded messages, DMs, AI collaborators, and more. Powered by Liveblocks Sync, each part of the app syncs live for all connected users.

I've built an open-source coding agent tool!

Jev classifies every message—the chats are multiplayer, and humans can talk normally, but if Jev recognises a coding request or question, it hops in and triggers the correct agent.

Building a multiplayer AI app?

When people and agents work in the same space, changes need to happen in realtime. Liveblocks gives you the foundation to build on.

I've built an open-source workflow builder for Jev!

Experiment using a UI—classify inputs using choices, scores, booleans; wire results into other prompts; and return a set of custom outputs. Below I've set up a support system that can help with various queries.

It's actually multiplayer here too—it uses https://t.co/3nNN7PtST1 to sync document state and presence.

As soon as its results are returned, I update the document with the new values, from the server.

In most products, collaboration is a feature. In a care center, it's the whole workflow. A plan of care gets written by the team, in the room, as they talk.

@SeenHealth built their clinical software around that, with @Liveblocks powering the realtime collaboration.

Jev enables instant AI suggestions 👏

In this app, 20+ intelligent checks occur every time you edit a cell, immediately providing warnings.

No LLMs necessary!

[Liveblocks @liveblocks]

Care decisions aren't made by one person. They're made by a team in a room, updating the same record together.

@SeenHealth built their own care platform around that, not around an EMR.

Liveblocks powers their collaborative charting, notes, and huddles.

Liveblocks for startups.

If you're building a canvas, a text editor, a flowchart, or any document agents interact with, multiplayer isn't a feature you add later—it's the foundation.

Our startup program gives early-stage teams discounts from day one.

Liveblocks for startups.

Popular apps like Figma, Notion, and Linear were built with sync engines from the beginning. Our startup program gives early-stage teams discounts, so you can start from day one instead of retrofitting at Series B.

Local models aren't the answer, for teams to work together, agents need to work in multiplayer, and have a shared memory. Spot on from @chamath on @theallinpod.

This is exactly why we built Feeds at @liveblocks, a primitive for building multiplayer agents.

@DanKornas Thanks for the mention!

Our homepage now has a multiplayer game!

✦ Real-time cursors & physics.
✦ Ripples & web page reflections.
✦ Secret code unlocks the easter egg.

We made a new https://t.co/autMY3GdZB 3D hero 💧

[Liveblocks @liveblocks]

We've built this new game to celebrate the launch of Liveblocks Sync.

Meet Liveblocks Sync—the sync engine for the agentic web.

Add collaborative editing for humans and agents, without building infrastructure.
