On the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda, we mourn the victims & pay tribute to the survivors.
We must learn from past failures & protect the living — by rejecting hatred, inflammatory rhetoric & incitement to violence.
If you had to pick a specific city or place in Africa, where would it be and why?
So far, I loved Kenya. I don't think we're going to have a growing period in Kenya. But Rwanda particularly was spectacular and somewhere I felt like I could live.
South Africa is stunning as well. Those are the places I think would be good for us to potentially go to.
I also don't want to leave the sport without having a Grand Prix there, without getting to race there. So I keep chasing them like, ‘When is it going to be?’ They keep setting certain dates and I'm like, ‘Damn, I'm running out of time.’
So I'm going to be here for a while until that happens because that would be amazing, given that I'm half African.
@AsstSecStateAF Its high time you concentrate your energy in dealing with the issues in the persia gulf & leave eastern congo issues to its people. We have seen no mention of neutralisation FDLR & other armed groups in any of your statements. M23 are Congolese & their people's lives matter.
"Rwanda doesn't support the M23. M23 is negotiating with DRC government in Doha to find a solution to the problem they have." | Emphasised Minister @onduhungirehe during an interview with BBC Newsday
Christine, let’s be honest: every time you post about Rwanda, you sound less like a Reverend and more like a full-time spokesperson for FDLR propaganda. Your latest message is no different; dramatic, emotional, and completely detached from verified facts.
You repeat the same script every time Congo’s militias lose ground:
Shout Rwanda!, invent bombings, inflate numbers, and hope no one notices the zero evidence.
But here’s what you refuse to face:
1. Rwanda is not responsible for Congo’s decades of chaos, Congo is.
You conveniently ignore the dozens of militias, the genocidaires your government shelters, and the total collapse of governance in eastern DRC. Blaming Rwanda is the easiest excuse for failure.
2. Refugees don’t flee towards the country you’re accusing.
If Rwanda were doing what you claim, explain why Congolese civilians run to Rwanda for protection, not the other way around. Your narrative collapses right there.
3. The Washington Accord is being undermined by the same people you’re defending.
Rwanda signed in good faith. Congo continues arming Wazalendo, FDLR, and every militia available. That’s the real source of the violence you pretend to report.
4. You’re not informing the world, you’re misleading it.
A responsible messenger checks facts. You spread whatever matches your hatred of President #PaulKagame and your obsession with Rwanda.
Christine, you can preach all you want, but truth doesn’t bend to your agenda.
When you’re ready to talk about real accountability; Congo’s militias, Congo’s leaders, Congo’s genocidaires, then maybe the conversation can be serious.
Until then, stop dressing propaganda in holy language. It fools no one.
Non, vous vous trompez sur toute la ligne. Le seul à pouvoir arrêter cette escalade est le Président Tshisekedi, et LUI SEUL.
Il peut le faire en arrêtant d'afficher son attitude belliqueuse, notamment ses menaces publiques d'invasion du Rwanda ou de bombardement de Kigali, sans mentionner ses insultes indignes contre le Président Kagame;
Il peut le faire en cessant de soutenir les génocidaires FDLR, en les expulsant de son armée et en les neutralisant, comme l'exige l'Accord de Paix de Washington;
Il peut le faire en désarmant la milice criminelle Wazalendo, qu'il a créée, armée et financée, une milice qui est aujourd'hui passée maître dans les discours de haine et dans la persécution des Congolais Tutsi;
Il peut le faire en cessant de recourir aux soldats burundais et aux mercenaires, hier roumains et aujourd'hui colombiens, ce qui est une violation flagrante d'une résolution de l'OUA de 1977 et d'une Convention de l'ONU de 1989;
Il peut le faire en arrêtant les bombardements quotidiens de ses avions de chasse et de ses drones d'attaque à l'est de la RDC, y compris sur les villages des Banyamulenge et des zones densément peuplées, en violation de l'Accord de Paix de Washington et la Déclaration de Principes de Doha;
