Lots of folks in ministry calling it quits because the expectations people have of them have little to do with Jesus and discipleship, and everything to do with being a sociologically focused, culturally reactive, organizational CEO.
Imagine how Christians would respond to sexual abuse in our ranks if we had been taught that the Prophet Nathan modeled true leadership because he risked his life by rebuking the king for his abuses of power instead of being taught that King David is the model for leadership.

I have tweeted at @Outback every day of 2019 because my only goal for this year is to be the Bloomin Onion mascot at the 2020 Outback Bowl.
If this video gets 10,000 retweets, my dream will become a reality.
A healthy culture spits out toxic people. And a toxic culture spits out healthy people.
Here’s the surprise. No one gets kicked out, they just leave when they can’t get traction or validation.
As CEO, it's your job to guide the team to see your vision.
Often, only about 25%-40% of it will really make sense to them at the time.

Today I kayaked to a private islands, sat in my hammock all afternoon and enjoyed time with my best friend! It doesn’t get much better than this. #blessed#nashvilleadventures#bestfriendday https://t.co/NqXtymKKQV
