Time to change your clocks and the batteries in all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
Clocks will fall back one hour at 2 am on Sunday, November 06 and we recommend residents install new batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms when they change their clocks.
On Dress Purple Day, we celebrate the community that cares for families & share the message that help is available & no one is alone. The day also offers an opportunity to remind adults about the important role they play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families.
This includes every adult’s legal duty to call their local Children’s Aid Society if they have a concern about the safety or well-being of a child or youth.
Let’s keep the conversation going around our role in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families.
Oct. 27 is Ontario Dress Purple Day. This day raises awareness on the important role individuals & communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, & families. 💜
We encourage our SCDSB community to wear purple tomorrow to show support.
